WHAT IS OVERFLOW MODPACK?:
A massive collection of mods meant to suite any type of player; the one who wants to explore technology and machines, the one who wants to explore technology, the one who wants to simply build fast, the one who loves the landscape and adventure, the one who loves the wacky mods, the one who loves mining and much much more! All the mods are friendly to everyone and you are never forced into doing them all, although if you do combine and explore some things you thought you didn't like, maybe you'll find out its a lot of fun! The modpack is designed to let you chose what you want to do. All of these types of mods are compiled into one modpack with 168 mods and counting! We are open to suggestions.
The modpack was put together by a single man, Hunter9502, also known by many names(Sparky9502, lollollol121, Sparky or Hunter) in 2 days. After lots of bugs were ironed out and the pack was tested over and over, it finally is working and in the beta stage. This does not mean there isn't any bugs, however! WHY SHOULD I PLAY YOUR MODPACK?
To be honest its completely your choice if you want to. I simply wanted to make a modpack where everything was there for all types of players instead of letting people download seperate packs with a few mods in it to satisfy one type of player. I wanted everyone to be able to like it. That said, there is not a server pack yet and that is something me and my new found dev team will be working on.
IMPORTANT STUFF:
Do NOT install OPTIFINE. It conflicts with some mods in the pack and although it raises FPS it will cause more problems than it fixes. Most of the time it will be a crash. We are working on fixing this and making Optifine compatible.
You will need a fairly good processor(s), video card(s), CPU and amount of good RAM to play. RAM is very important, I recommend you have a 64 bit operating system with 64 bit Java so you can allocate around 3 GB of RAM. Do not have other things running that are non-essential. Only put your settings to what your PC can handle. You will get freezing that will increase if you do not allocate enough RAM or have your video settings too high. If you get freezing do not complain to me. It will mostly likely be improved once Optifine becomes compatible.
The modpack is 199 mb unpacked and will increase as you start making saves. Make sure you have enough space avaliable if you have a small harddrive or a small amount of space.
The modpack will not be updated to a higher version of minecraft for a while, we will start deving a 1.8 version when all of the mods that we have are updated. There are still some mods we want to add, such as modular powersuits, that have not been updated to 1.7.10 . We will add more as we go along.
Do not try adding your own mods please and if you do and you get crashes, then you are better off reinstalling the whole modpack. Do not try getting support from the Overflow Modpack team if you added your own mods and there were problems.

Q: Where do I report bugs?

Q: Can I help out?
A: With the terms we are binded by, you cannot help financially, although we may try to discuss with those specific mod authors. You can, however, donate to our community Tekkit classic server which would help me manage everything.
Q: Why cant I download the modpack right now?
A: We are using a temporary file host, Dropbox, to host our files. If we can get donations it would help us get a pro plan so our bandwith will not run out or we can get a server to host our files. It could also help us get a real forums and website!
Q: This mod should be official!
A: This isn't really a question but if you feel that way thanks! I really appreciate it. I don't ever expect to have my modpack become official however.
Q: Why did you make this?
A: I sort of answered this, but its meant to appeal to all types of players. That said, considering it has a lot of mods, it likely has some bugs too so make sure to report them!
Q: Can I ask the devs a question?
A: Yes, pm Hunter9502 on the modpack forums or pm Sparky9502 on the Technic forums. Or add me on Steam(I wont release my Steam profile publicly to prevent spam, pm me for it).
Q: CAN I BE A DEV!!!
A: Well, I am looking for a few extra devs, ones that are experienced and know how to edit some config files for added effect. Probably around 2 or 3. PM me your own application format filled out.
Q: Where can I get further support?
A: On the modpack forums.
Q: Can I get exclusive updates?
A: All donators get exclusive access to early versions and upcoming updates along with respected members, supporters and devs.
Q: Will this overview be updated/added to?
A: Sure, I plan on making it look better.
Q: Are you looking for special people?
A: Yes; we are looking for experienced artists, bug testers, developers, coders and forum managers.
Q: Will you ever have a server pack so I can play with my friends?:
A: Actually, yes. It is in progress and hopefully will be released when the official modpack release version comes out(1.0.0). I am looking for people/the dev team is looking for people to help us with making a server file. It shouldn't take too long.
Q: Will you ever have an official server?
A: Possibly, probably in far future though, when I feel safe about the modpacks status.
