Install Akkit Horizons

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Akkit Horizons) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Akkit Horizons from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

This update mainly focuses on rebalancing the world generation to stop everything from being over-abundant.

- Removed project red volcanos in favor of the Biomes O' Plenty volcano biome (They also broke world gen frequently)
- Removed duplicate ore types with a preference for ores from the Thermal series
- Decreased the spawn frequency of gravitational distortions from Matter Overdrive
- Removed a few duplicate recipes/items, but I'll work on that more in future updates

I forgot I made this modpack for the longest time, and I recently decided to pick it back up for the funzies.

The main thing this version does is make sure every mod is back up to date. I also added a crap ton of performance mods that I, to be perfectly honest, don't know if I even need. It seems to run faster and smooth out chunk loading though. Oh, and I also updated the config so that new world default to the Biomes O' Plenty generation.
