Install Blightfall

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Blightfall) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Blightfall from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Blightfall updated to version 2.1.4

-Fixes the problem with node bopping. Wands are now incapable of breaking nodes. Trying hard enough to break a node will purify it if you have enough vis and a purity focus equipped.
-Fixes a serious worldgen bug introduced in 2.1.3.

it wont work or let me play now awsome pack but when i went to update it like delete everything so i uninstall the modpack and it showed me this message Error downloading a file for the following pack: Blightfall Failed to download http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/mods/commons-compress/commons-compress-v1.8.1.aip Please consult the modpack author. plz help

Found a bug! When harvesting harvestcraft crops if your have a crop in the active hotbar slot right clicking not only gives you the mature crop but a seed as well.

blightfall on my pc takes almost an hour to finish initilising and it stays on the mojang sign. then when it does get in I have major lag problems. help please

So when i try to to start up a server in blightfall it spawns me underwater in an ocean floor and then crashes after about 30 seconds. wat do do

I have a server currently running version 2.1.2, can someone tell me if I can update without having to delete the world file and lose everyone's progress? Or if I can get away with keeping certain dimension & region files and all that jazz. TLDR: Help me update server from 2.1.2 to 2.1.4.

The update is still not working for me. I reliably get the following error: Failed to download http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/mods/commons-compress/commons-compress-v1.8.1.1 - Copy.zip

2.1.3 and 2.1.2 work good, i get that same error shortly after choosing to update, good game but a quite a bit more challenging especially when you start playing it for the first time.

+1 this. Error states you are not authorized to view this build. Tried without a client ID and blowing up and reinstalling Technic to get a new client ID. Neither my old cid, new cid, nor no cid works. Authors need to make the build public again. Does anyone happen to have the 2.1.4 build and can host it for the rest of us to grab?

I has fix. Buddy of mine updated before the permissions were changed. I've zipped up his blightfall folder and have it at https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3XcWoXoCDUGenNneWVOSHBtWm8&usp=sharing. CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK. It's generally bad practice to download things other random folks post on the internet. Make sure to virus scan and all that. (I'm not posting a virus, just trying to enforce good practices.) If you're on Windows, unzip this into your C:\Users\<your user here>\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks folder. If you're on OS X... I'm not sure. According to normal file system ports, it _should_ be /home/<your user here>/.technic/modpacks, but I can't say for sure. If it bugs you to update (though it shouldn't...?) just say no until Talonos fixes the permissions.

Latest Update

Lumy Skin Patch has been updated to 1.0.13 so skins should be working again. Existing modpack builds were updated to the fixed version.
