i cant download this because my video ram is to low can you possibly fix this problem if so great.

So I've been dealing with a couple of times already but very rarely when I die I get this weird glitch that makes me die several times while I am on the respawn screen. I've lost the game several times so I had to cheat in an OP quest book and fix my rep. It's very annoying and I hope it can be fixed. This happend in all the versions of the pack so I don't know if it's lag or something in the game.

So if you see i posted something similar but different that happened to me that resulted in "failing" and having to cheat to fix it. I'm thinking of installing aroma backup and setting it to do like, every 4 hours backups overwriting after like 24 hours or something. Maybe look into it, and if the respawn glitch happens worst you lose is since last backup
pls tell me how to get NORMAL bread!!!! (no primitive)

Make a mortar and pestle, then grind up the wheat with it and cook it in the furnace. When you're not sure how to make something, search for it in NEI (in your inventory, type into the box at the bottom). Locate the item on the right, then click it or hover over and press R to find the recipe.
Can someone help please. I have 64-bit java but I can't load the modpack as it tells me that I don't have it. I've read someone elses comment about going into the launcher options, but I can't put my RAM over 1GB when my PC supports 8GB. Someone please help.
Maybe check in the Launcher Options that you have the right version of Java selected? You can have more than one version of Java installed at once, so just make sure the little drop down is on the 64-bit version!
Hello, please help me. I completed the quest of giving sample copper, that said to reveal copper caches but it didnt reveal anything in the materials book, and it still says to complete quests in geologist questline. Any tips?

It won't reveal the caches until you find samples of many things, unfortunately. Keep doing quests for the geologist and eventually it'll unlock.
Airova is right, you need to do all of the tech metal quests for the geologist and mass stone sampling, meaning you must find copper, silver, platinum, ferrous, lead, and tin before you can find the caches. You can find it everywhere else but much more rarely. Also, once you find it, you can request it if you are running low, IE after completing the geologist quest to find platinum you can request it from the supplier. This will take reputation, so use this sparingly. Hope this helped, Best of Luck!
First of all, thank you so much for this awesome Modpack! My friend and I do have a so much fun with it.
Now my question: How should I update the server, running dedicated on Ubuntu 15.04?
Will it work to just overwrite the old version/folder with the new one and after that replace the word-folder with a backup of the old one?
Or should I create a new folder, extract the new version into it and then replace the world-folder with the one from a backup?
Could you, or maybe someone else, give us a little advice on that or a link to some explaining resources on how to do this.

that just got fixed bro. side note to blockheads mod though, the cooking table will only register items in the side of a double chest that is directly adjacent to it.
Since the 2.1.2 patch, can't milk my cow.....
Also, water bucket/fresh water + pot for salt recipe is missing. Was this intended? Because salt isn't really common enough for the amount of recipes that use it(read as ~80% of recipes from Pam's Harvest)

Have you ever tried mining? I kept myself fed for about an IRL day from one hour long mining trip. A bit of dedication and luck helps always.
But the milking the cow thing probably a bug. Recipe for salt, probably. Balancing and such. Makes mining a bit more of a dependency.
can milk the cows again, after I closed and re-started launcher. haven't had an issue a second time so far.
hey! It keeps saying that it doesnt know if im on a 32-bit or 64-bit even thou I have updated my java! can you help! its very annoying!

There's a drop-down in launcher options. You have to select 64-bit Java from there, then it should work.
Can I ask if something can be done about the vanilla weapons damage meta-data? I'm fine with the weapons not doing any damage, but any weapons made from them are useless as well. ie: the Slash Blade mod and its Thaumcraft addons are entirely useless, as all the katanas are based from the wooden sword, or have the potential to be. Or the Touhou mod, all the swords are made from iron/gold swords, and are useless as a result.

I'm afraid if you add mods, you'll have to edit the Iguana Tinker Tweaks file yourself to make them un-noodlified.
Will there be a quickfix for Cooking for Blockheads?
The quest is undoable due to the book requiring itself to craft it.

Has anyone else found it ridiculously hard to find gold? I've spent 5-6 hours mining, in various biomes, at low levels, and I have not found a SINGLE gold ore. I'm starting to get really frustrated. I'm tempted to just cheat it in... There's so much else I want to do with this pack, the last thing I want to spend hours and hours on is grindily digging through the ground looking for a few gold ore blocks...
Oh god, I just realized there's no way to cheat anything in. You have to be kidding me. PLEASE make gold easier to find! This is ridiculous!!!
I've found gold, but have no way to mine it yet, as I've found no tin to make brass. Found some copper, and then realized after I'd made a pick from it that it can't mine any better than the prometheum pick.
Anyway, I started in the alpha dome, and just mined straight down until I hit some caves (not the cave that's visible behind the glass wall, but further down), down in there are a few blocks of gold ore.
Okay, I have learned a few things that have helped a lot! Apparently you can requisition gold tools from the supplier (though I'm not sure exactly what you have to do to unlock that) and then you can melt them down in the smeltery to get a few bars of gold. And that after I had spent ages transmuting gold swords into tiny gold nuggets with Thaumcraft... I feel a bit foolish. In any case, if you want to make metal tools without having to make bronze, try exploring. I found a few bars of gold in one of the abandoned villages (though it took me 3 tries to get in there without being chased out by tons of swarms) which got me started without having to make bronze.

Airova, there is a great alternative to the use of bronze in tool materials, or even copper. First, you need to find prometheum, in plains biomes. Then, you can fand another ore, Oureclease, under the swamps, at the same height as prometheum. It can be mined by a pick at Prometheum level or higher, and this can be used to make a pick capable of mining gold.
After this, you can put it into a smeltery to double it up and make casts out of it. AGain, you CAN use bronze, but due to the low amount of Tech Metal like copper and tin it is reccomended to use alien metal. Most metals are biome-coded, and if you talk to the supplier and use the book that he can give you which is volume I, has a capital I on the front, you can find an index on where metals can be found and the rarity of them. IE, it says tech metals are everywhere but rare. Hope this helps in some way, if you have more questions just ask. I've been on blightfall for a while. Best of luck.

aim at their hitbox, make a sword if you come out of the dome!
Strike when waila says "Taint Swarm" and shows the number of hearts. That's when you're looking at it's hitbox!
If i launch the game, then create a world HARDCORE, it isnt hardcore, so i have infinity lives etc, can somebody tell me how to play hardcore pls PS if i do the quest bread, the say NOT primitive bread, butt if a make normal bread is primitive bread...

Normal bread is changed to primitive bread in this modpack, but you can make "normal" bread by using a mortar and pestle to grind the wheat into flour, then cooking the flour in a furnace.
How do you make an hamachi server?! when download the server download and open the minecraft.jar it says server proprieties failed

For hamachi you need to open your server to lan, basically treat everything as a LAN game.
If your going to make a good looking modpack, at least make it work! I couldnt even enter my inventory, or talk the the general or open the quest books. I rate this modpack 1 / 10

When I try to install it, it says that this - http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/mods/blightfall-saves-v2.1.0.zip - cannot be found, I went to the link and it's error 404. What needs to be downloaded?
