Click "Start new world" and it'll copy the map into your save folder as you begin playing.

Yes, create a world. The custom map will load automatically.
really like the mod pack and all. just wish it would allow creative or adventure modes in single player and not force people into survival. that and if possible add a armory and kitchen to the jaded. that would be great for at least having some starter equipment.

How do I get the 64 bit?
if your OS is 32bit you need to buy the 64bit. But if you're a 64 bit OS, go here https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and download "Windows offline 64bit" if you have window.
I only have 1 GB Though. How do I get 2 GB?
I think you need a 64 bit version of java.
I need help! It says I need 2 GB RAMS And I only have 1. It also says I need Java 1.7 But I have 1.8. Please help!
When you open the technic launcher, go into the "Launcher Options," its a button below the X button. You can change the java varsion being used and the ram allocated to the game there.
Literally none of the updates work for me. none. one of them used to and i LOVED this modpack. but then everything broke and id reeaaaallly like this to be fixed. at least one of the updates.

How do i get rid of junk items? They won't despawn on the ground, nor will they burn up in lava. I don't know what else to do.
My friend tries to download the modpack but the download window closes at 87%. What is wrong?

Could I get some help? When i try to play this, an error message appears. It says this modpack requires 2gb, which I have, but currently am using only 1. How would I go about bumping it up to two gb?

In the upper right hand corner there is modpack options, click that, java settings I think, then select the gb
I like the modpack, but is there a way to modify world data so the entire world isn't tainted if I wanted to just experiment with the modpack?

I cannot download the update through launcher, keep getting this error: Failed to download http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/mods/commons-compress/commons-compress-v1.8.1.zip,
