i updated this pack and now it doesent work, it just crashes and reopens the loader
Not a helpful comment - Paste a link to the according crash-report. Else wise nobody can fix this.
flatronez if my graphics card is the problem then why did the pack used to work? i had downloaded it multiple times before and played it just fine. then one of the times i downloaded it it said would you like to update this pack. i hit yes and that is when it started not working.

I guess some mod got updated and broke the compatibility with your internal graphics. You can try it on another computer and see if this issue still occurs but for me and many others everything is working just fine.
Because of the overwhelming response from you guys we have opened the fourth Blightfall server (whitelisted) today for you and your friends to join and play this pack undisturbed by griefers :) More info can be found here: http://forums.technicpack.net/topic/155046-1710blightfall-serverunofficialpve/ If you just want to get into this pack real fast there is of course our public server!

My friend had download the server. He can play with her sister but i can't play. I always have timed out and lag ( 10 GB ram),

This seems to related to your friends internet connection. To Host a server from your home internet connection I recommend a upload of at least 12+ mbit/s (1.5 MB/s) for a server of about 5 people.
plus, how do I click the link it wants me to click?
I updated my java to 1.8.0 but it says it needs 1.7 why is it doing that?!
I am playing my singleplayer is there a reason why i can't craft tool?

That is the point of blightfall you need to use part builders and pattern chests and a tool station just go on your quest book and click the instuctor and do the quests it wants you to do and you will learn how to make tools
If theres enough interest ill start a server for this. Post on my profile to let me know if there are ppl out there wanting a server for this.

I have a suggestion for this pack about spice of life. Some People like myself do not like spice of life may it be an optional mod or something like that because it is a horrible mod and it breaks the hunger mechanic.

The reason for spice of life being in the pack is so that it becomes more difficult. It doesn't break the hunger mechanic, just makes it more difficult. If they were to take out this mod, another basic mechanic altering mod would take the place of Top Hated until they were pressured to remove it. This would keep happening until the pack became a simple walk in the park. They aren't going to remove the mod.
Although I wouldn't suggest removing it, currently it is configured to be way too demanding. I currently have 10 different foods all sitting at 50% nutritional value and scrambling to find more, which is tough because for some reason they removed many of the foods along with the unforgving configs
you should have seen how it was before they added harvest craft. besides its a CHALLENGING mod pack, if you don't want a challenge then...
Okay so, I have 3.5GB of ram allocated for it, but when I try to run it all it does is go to a black screen and crash
What does the crash-report tell you?
Anyone find a fix running with kcauldron yet?

can you point me in the right direction. I'm considering setting up an Australian server as MC doesn't play well with over 150 ping, but kcauldron does my head in. Admittedly i have not tried to set it up with this pack yet, but i have gotten it to work in the past.
o and make it run with 32 bit please 64 craps my computer

They can't make it so 32bit PC's will be able to run it, also 64Bit can't "Crap" your computer as it's an upgrade.l

I am stuck downloading it at 31% Blight Saves
Plez help me I really wanna play but its stuck at 31%
Ok, So i've learned the reason why it does that. The part it downloads at 31-32% is actually one of the biggest parts of the mod, the world save itself. Therefore, it takes a while to download. Wait a little while, upwards of 5-10 minutes, and if it still stays there, then you can complain.
its a problem, if it stops, quit the launcher and then re-download it. i waited for over 30 minutes and it went backwards from 32 to 31, after i restarted the launcher it downloaded that file in about 2 minutes
Anyone able to tell me what hidden keybind is using the C button? I always use that for crouch, but it's not working even after unbinding all other things using C in the control menu.
yeah, i'm wondering that too. i feel like going into the mod file and tearing everything up to look for it without a care that the modpack might corrupt if i do.
Is there any efficient way of clearing the oceans of taint?

will someone help me i cant seem to find how to make a gold cast i have promethium but i cant think of how to make a pickaxe

you need a bronze pick to mine gold. (to do that, you need to smelt copper and tin together (which are also some of the rarest ores)
You can also use Oureclase or Fusewood.

just to make it a bit clearer if you have a smeltery then you just need gold to make casts like pickaxe heads/ingots and stuff like that if you have promethium you can make a normal pickaxe of that on the crafting table to make the casts you need gold and to get gold you can find it and mine it with Ourclase, bronze fusewood/found in nether, thaumium or netherquartz if you have to gold then you need a caster with the smeltery you need to grab any ingot you have it dosent matter what ingot and you wont loose it after you have the ingot in your hand and right click the caster then the ingot will be on the caster and you need to pour gold in it from the smeltery and then you have a golden ingot cast you can do the same with any pickaxe head and then you will get a golden pickaxe head cast that you can use to make tools out of metal ingots like iron hope this is not too long i have been playing alot of mods :D

Run it! If you are using windows you need to run the start.bat file. If you run this on Linux you need to run the start.sh file with ./start.sh. I would recommend you writing your own start script for this server to assign the right amount of RAM. You also need to have the port 25565 open on your server / home internet to let players from the outside connect. Bare in mind you should not consider hosting a server to the internet from your home network nor should you host a server if you don't have the proper knowledge. There are plenty of really good tutorials about hosting a Forge server online.
