Mine Gets Stuck On 31%
Be patient, we're monitoring the servers and everyone is getting their files but sometimes it takes up to 15 min to download the entire pack.

Is the mod pack usable as of now? Because when I click play nothing happens.
the older versions are usable

they will most likely release server files for the update and i am wanting to make a major server for this pack
You guys did really well on the teaser. There's no way you cannot be excited about this modpack! Glad to see what awaits us in a couple of days :)

Ok so every time I try to open the modpack, it opens, loads for about 15 seconds and then closes and goes back to the launcher. Any idea why?

You need 64 bit java. You have to give more ram to the technic launcher by clicking on the gear on the top right saying "launcher options". Click the java tab and select a number between 2-3 G of ram (default is usually 1G, which is not enough). If you have 32 bit java, the highest is 1G, and idk how to fix that. Make sure to select the 64 bit version of java in order to get higher amounts of ram, and check to see if your computer is 64 bit, or the 64 bit java won't work. also in my opinion you need 3gb of ram to run the pack consistently, less and you will have alot of problems loading
As he said, you need 64 bit java so your system can handle RAM better.
If you have a 32bit system sucks man, many packs need 2gb's or higher. I had your same problem, you'll have to either buy a new OS disc/files, or don't play this modpack. The lowest I found for a 64 bit used Disc is 50 dollars.
Just download 64bit java (if you have like 5-6 or more java) or just reinstall Windows to 64bit. ez
Being a hardcore Thaumcrafter, I would love this, but I HATE the taint.... creeps me out...
In part of the story though, I can definitely say in the "trailer" thing and that book... a Thaumcrafter's Thauminomicon/diary. Clearly he tried to purge the taint, but failed, and it took over the planet...

I once settled in a village not too far from taint...... I studied it.... I may have in fact been on the same planet as him, the one now in blight, I had a comrade as well, he hired me to stay in the village and survive, getting outside was nearly impossible, I would be attacked by swarms, I tried getting a food supply going, but it wasn't working, in the future it must of took over.
I wanna play this modpack, but there are so many mods that it lags the game to the point of CRASHING.

Install Fastcraft, BetterFPS and Optifine. (Honestly the pack should ship with at least Fastcraft)
This pack is combining tech and magic and has both thaumcraft and AE2... but no thaumic energistics?

im wanting to make a good server but am having problems converting the server to use plugins
is there going to be a multiplayer server soon in the future?

I had the same problem, and it just worked one day, and it not only worked, it took 2 seconds to download.
I can't even download the pack. It doesn't go past 0% and will just stop at some point.

Well sweet baby Jesus on a boat in the middle of the Bering Straight, it randomly downloaded.
Does anyone know when the next update is coming? If there's one at all.
