Do I find lava underground or is there another way to get it?

Its a great mod, for people who cant seem to get it working, as Meap141 stated, you need to increase the amount of ram that the mod has been assigned as a maximum by going to the cog at the top right. every now and then it does stop responding however just wait and it will fix itself

Help i want to play this modpack but whenever i start minecraft the screen is just black and the menu oanoramic is in the corner ive tried everything when i look at the console it just spams this [B#308] [14:53:02] [Client thread/ERROR]: 1286: Invalid framebuffer operation [B#308] [14:53:02] [Client thread/ERROR]: ########## GL ERROR ########## ive tried putting this in the jvm arguments -Xmx7G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M -XX:MaxPermSize=128 -Dforge.forceNoStencil=true but it wont work i reallyy eant to play this modpack please help me im even considering getting a new computer

this is for people who crash while loading the game or a world. You need 64 bit java. You have to give more ram to the technic launcher by clicking on the gear on the top right saying "launcher options". Click the java tab and select a number between 2-3 G of ram (default is usually 1G, which is not enough). If you have 32 bit java, the highest is 1G, and idk how to fix that. Make sure to select the 64 bit version of java in order to get higher amounts of ram, and check to see if your computer is 64 bit, or the 64 bit java won't work.

Dude are you ever going to tell people how to fix the whole crashing thing with starting the mod, or creating a new game?

Excuse me, but it seems like many people are having a similair issue to mine, so resolving it or telling us how to fix it would be great! My issue is that whenever I open the pack from the launcher, it says "Minecraft 1.7.10 (Not Responding) on the top of the screen and Minecraft is black. When it finally loads in, it stops at Initialising, and crashes back to the launcher! A post on the FAQ or a reply would be much appreciated!

I just had it shut down on me AND delete my game. i figured a crash is nothing (i've been playing minecraft for a long time so it's nothing new to me) and started it back up. nope, its like i had no save at all :/ also when i started it back up it put me directly in the multiplayer interface. either way, while i liked this pack a lot, the glitches have finally won, i give up. first it was the warp points dissapearing when i was n owhere near base and now this. i think im taking a break from this pack until it gets a bit more sorted out....or maybe find a server i can play on XD at least then it is less likely that all my hard work up and deletes itself :(
