Install Build your own modpack

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Build your own modpack) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Build your own modpack from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

This pack is simply Minecraft 1.6.4 with FML and NEI to add your own mods to.
To add mods on Windows XP:
Click Start > Run and type (without quotes) "%appdata%\.technic\modpacks\build-your-own-modpack\mods" and copy mods there
Windows Vista/7
Click Start and in the search box type (without quotes) "%appdata%\.technic\modpacks\build-your-own-modpack\mods" and press "Enter"
Mac:
In Finder on the top bar click "Go" then click "Go to folder" and type ~\Library\technic\modpacks\build-your-own-modpack\mods and click go.
