Mods such as tardis and minechess have been temporarily removed so the server can have a healthy TPS. These features will make their return, likely in another version of the modpack entirely.

What is it?

Dragon Block Grand Tour is not your typical DBC modpack. It is structured much differently. Rather than clicking on ducks or saibamen or shadows in a time chamber, you become stronger by exploring other planets and defeating enemies and bosses within them with increased battle power, and they drop TP!

To put it simply, DBC which is fun in singleplayer/LAN. Also has an official server!

Battle / Planet Music

Fighting mobs plays battle music, but there is more to it than that. Many bosses have unique soundtracks, and every planet has 1 or more background music tracks taken from Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super. (Fair Use)

Space Travel NOTE: This feature will return later. For now use teleporter item. With the tardis mod, you can access a peronal spaceship with a key you start off with (craftable)

What are all these buttons?!

Poor Yamcha. Unlike him, you are provided a guide ingame. It is actually tremendously easy to use this spaceship and it is configured to not require any resources! Freely travel between planets and just have some fun with it.

Hold on there Yamcha! As I said before, the mobs are scaled to the power level you have to be to go to each planet. Now, this doesnt work flawlessly with all mobs, but you can be sure the majority are gonna beat the hell out of an unprepared player. Also worth noting the epic boss music that plays when you fight these bosses with interesting AI that are now a match for you!

No Orespawn?

Orespawn is far too typical for DBC, it creates more chaos than necessary and conflicts with other mods. Instead, the overworld is sort of an easy area... for players, at least.

What's in the Overworld?

We call it "Earth" now, and a lot of humans are there. Most of them are men (and women) of culture. Villages now are very cultural thanks to the "diversity" mod. And a percentage of villagers that spawn are MCA ones.

Furthermore, the overworld contains some interesting new bosses and structures.

Dragon Blocks

Once you find all 7, you can make a wish. But legend has it there exists another type of dragon block out there deep in space, the black star dragon blocks. With them, you can make far more powerful wishes! (This feature only available in singleplayer version)

Weapon Awakening

Power up weaker weapons to compete with your rising power levels! Check recipes in nei by pressing "u" by your desired weapon!

No, Yamcha. However, there is a very interesting system in place here for villagers in old style npc villages thanks to minecraft comes alive! You can't wish for them (anymore), but you can find them in any type of village in any planet.

Planets

Overworld - Level 1-9

Atum - Level 10-24 (kaioken for bosses)

Hoanna - Level 25+ with Super Saiyan or Equivelent

Eternal Frost- Level 50+ with Super Saiyan Grades

Erebus- Level 100+ with Super Saiyan 2 + 3

Twilight- Level 200+ with God Forms

Balance

All races in race selection are fundamentally good and can clear all content, but each have some advantages over the others.

Saiyans have a heavy emphasis on power but burn through a good deal of energy. While the God line follows this pattern, 4 is an alternative that is more sustainable.

Half Saiyans get Super Saiyan 1 and 2 early, but even out in overall investments. In exchange, super saiyan 4 is very hard for them to achieve.

Humans have less numerous transformations than saiyans, but burn through less energy for their power. They are the most balanced and efficient race overall.

Arcosians (Frieza Race) start off the strongest. They start to lose their footing as other transformations show up, but make a fierce return in endgame.

Namekians are more pve oriented, lacking in raw power but having a lot of energy in base. Their god form has the lowest energy drain fo all.
