Crashes and Performance problems?

The biggest reason for crashes with the technic Launcher and its Modpacks is the lack of RAM. Most of players could have more, but uses the wrong client of Java to enable it. Heres a simple little tutorial how we recommend to fix it. just follow the steps below.

1.- Check if have a 64bit system

First of all make sure that you have a 64bit running system (Windows/Linux/Mac) just google for a right tutorial in your language and check that.

2- Download and install the right Java Client

Download Java for a 64bit running system https://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=242060_3d5a2bb8f8d4428bbe94aed7ec7ae784

You may get the offer to uninstall an older version of Java. We recommend to do that to avoid troubles.

3- Enable the new Java

When you have downloaded and installed the 64bit Java open the "Technic Launcher" -> "Launcher Options" -> "Java Settings" -> choose in "Java Version" the newest 64 bit -> and in "RAM" we recommend to use more than 2GB.

4- Finished

Thats it. If you havent generally the necessary hardware to play, this fix wont help you. But you could gain some FPS more.
