Changelogs
Version Beta 2.4.3-1
Posted
- Hopefully fixed a crash relating to Ancient Warfare.
Discuss this update (0)Version Beta 2.4.2
Posted
- Minor loot table changes
- Lycanites' Mobs no longer drop overpowered loot as often, nor do they ever drop "charges" which tend to only take up space in chests.
Version Beta 2.4.1
Posted
- Iron is now purchasable for a more reasonable price: 1 Denier Argent, and sold for 20 Denier at most villages.
- Script fixes, mithril is now craftable again.
Version Beta 2.4
Posted
- Addition of Bewitchment mod
- Cleaning of loot tables (significantly less clutter; rotten flesh, bones, seeds, in typical dungeon loot tables)
- Several conflicting items, mobs removed. Very little practical change.
Version Beta 2.2
Posted
- Added Electroblob's Wizardry
- Release of updated loot tables! Items found in structures should be more worthwhile and varied, some uniquely hard to come by items (millenaire cultural armour/weapons) are now more readily accessible.
- Changed SpartanWeaponry configs to be more standardized, two-handed weapons less overpowered.
Version Beta 2.1.9-1
Posted
- Hotfix: Disabled SwordBlockingCombat as it was incompatible with certain mods.
- Minor update to SpartanWeaponry balancing; metal-reinforced bows and crossbows removed. These changes are incomplete.
Version Beta 2.1.9
Posted
- An amalgamation of incremental fixes and balance changes, too numerous and small for me to remember, sorry.
- New mods:
> Nature's Aura: Nature magic.
> Morpheus: Sleeping utilities.
> Unique Enchantments: Rare, powerful enchantments that change the very way you'll use a weapon, tool, or armour piece.
- Changed armour textures once again.
- Added Sword Blocking Combat: only addition is blocking with swords and other weapons. In order to not make two-handed weapons too powerful, this will also damage the weapon blocked with and only blocks 33% of damage. There is also a 1/4 second window where no damage is blocked.
Big additions planned for Beta 3, whenever that is ready.
Version Beta 2.1.8
Posted
- Edited various configs for reduced unforgivingness in general.

Version Beta 2.1.5

After struggling with recent versions causing severe issues, 1.10abeta is an attempt to republish the last correctly working update. The issues have all been arcane and unfixable as far as I can tell, this is something of a last ditch effort.
I don't even know who I'm writing these changelogs to, I'm the only one who reads them.

- Various config changes
- Fix to the coin conversion recipes.
- Removed unnecessary crafting recipes (primairily items from BaseMetals and MMDLib that served very little purpose).
- Integrated Ice and Fire weapons and armour into Reskillable.
Version 1.10a
Posted
== MAJOR UPDATE ==
- Added Reskillable. Currently configured only to manage requirements for vanilla, Basemetals, and SpartanWeaponry tools, armour, and weapons.
> This will impose level restrictions on existing worlds. Sorry for the inconvenience. Reccomended solution is to temporarily set the world to "creative" and advance skills as reasonable.
- All SpartanWeaponry weapons are now considered "swords" for the sole purpose of atmosphere (sounds when attacking) and compatibility. This means that all SpartanWeaponry weapons will be able to use the "sweep" attack.
- Updated hit sounds to be more consistent.
- Updated Serene Seasons, Dynamic Surroundings, Hardcore Revival to most recent 1.12.2 versions.
- Added Serene Tweaks; no more lack of snow in distant chunks.
- Removed crafting recipes for all duplicate SpartanWeaponry weapons; removed certain recipes for weapons made out of materials such as Copper and Tin.
- Fixed crafting recipes for bronze ingots.
- Added EnhancedVisuals for improved tone; currently unconfigured. Death messages are really annoying, will soon be fixed.
Version 1.9f
Posted
- Increased the durability of many Pyrotech tools to reduce grinding.
- Removed Pyrotech's ability to replace iron in loot tables with iron ore.
- Included a new recipe for Bronze Ingots to increase the value of bronze: six copper nuggets and two tin nuggets. Disabled original BaseMetals recipe for Bronze Ingots.
Version 1.9e
Posted
- Removed the mod Better Animals Plus Plus and replaced it with its predecessor; as it was severely buggy and caused several issues, between potential crashes, missing textures for boars, and random first-person to third-person perspective switching.
- Edited various configurations for Grimoire of Gaia and Mowzies Mobs. Grimoire of Gaia mobs are now naturally significantly more dangerous and rare than vanilla mobs, closer to the mod's default settings.
Version 1.9d
Posted
Various changes, almost too many to count.
- Removal of Lightweight Blood Mechanics (possibly temporary); too many particles would cause a world to become unplayable.
- Addition of Grimoire of Gaia Redux to keep the tone of the pack consistent; Grimoire of Gaia updated.
- Addition of Mowzie's Mobs
- Various config tweaks to ensure Ancient Warfare is not too difficult on starting a new world; and also for it to mesh better with mods such as Ice and Fire.
- Other varying config tweaks and minor additions.

- Removed mod: Bloodmoon; features present in mod: Nyx; exchanged config settings to Nyx.
- Minor changes to mob aggression.
- Various other fixes and minor changes.
Version 1.9c-1
Posted
Changes to the speed of Pyrotech machines to reduce grinding.
Inclusion of a default resource pack.
Version 1.9c
Posted
- Added the mod Realistic Armor Tiers. Now, some combinations of full armour will have potion effects, some more useful in certain circumstances than others.
- Edited ElenaiDodge basic config. Armour will also dictate how often you can dodge. Generally, lighter = more often.
- Disabled spawning of Project Vibrant Journeys' Brown Bear and Duck for consistency with Better Animals Plus.
Version 1.2a

Some weapons reworked, several mods added to increase immersion, new creatures added.
Discuss this update (0)Version 1.1-a
Posted
- Added two new naturally spawning enemies
- Added a few new mods
> You can now edit the dimensions of your avatar
> Death now has a steeper penalty
> Combat now has meatier attack sounds, tighter controls, and the option of dual-wielding. Any attack now triggers the "sweep" normally inherent in swords.
- Armour is now categorized into three different "weights": Light, Medium, and Heavy. Mix and match different combinations of these to gain different bonuses.
> Some armours come with debuffs to offset the inherent advantages in Vanilla minecraft, thus making armour that offers less protection now more valuable.
> Generally, armour that offers more protection is considered heavier, but this is not always the case.
