Lay of the Land Version 2.0

Are you tired of tech modpacks? Lay of the Land focusses heavily on exploration with hints of magic and farming. The pack has been balanced to create a fresh take on exploration without straying too far from the vanilla experience.

Modpack Features:




Beware of the night! Seriously...the night is actually dark and dangerous. Grab a torch and run! Mobs are super smart now and require special planning before venturing out into the wild.



Campers are dotted around the land who can offer a place to rest or trade items. Random ruins and buildings are a great place to find loot or shelter.




Every 7 days in game time will cause a shift in the season. Yes that's right, SEASONS in MINECRAFT! Survive the Winter, Summer, Autumn and Spring!




Slight modification to world gen has been made. Streams allow awesome travel by boat, and sound changes can be heard in large open caves!





Jump into the magical aspects of the land with the thaumcraft addon. Word has it jumping into a portal made by dropping a diamond into water will travel you to a new dimension!





Explore shipwrecks, kill some wildlife, grow some crops and SURVIVE! Have fun :)
