For those who have realized the server is down (I am NOT an official person to refer to) my theory is that the DNS provider (servive that allows the worded IP to work for connecting to servers) may be having issues. Again, I am NOT an official person for the modpack, it is just a theory.

How about adding openblocks. A mod helping to make it more realistic is physics mod or mo bends

Can't seem to find a chicken within 1.5k blocks in any direction. Lots of ducks. Am I unlucky or are chicken spawns disabled or replaced completely with ducks.?

Also I hate crickets.
Ducks lay eggs, so problem solved... Still would like to see more storage options unless I am missing something.

I really enjoy this mod, even having only played a few minutes of it..
Unfortunately I cant play it for longer than that. Every time I play it starts glitching and freezing on me, eventually crashing and quitting out altogether :(
It says Minecraft has no memory left, so I'm not entirely understanding of the issue..
Sucks because it makes a mod I thoroughly started to enjoy, thoroughly unplayable.
you should let the launcher use more then the standard 1 GB RAM. go to your launcher options, top right, and to java settings. there you can change your memory use. some packs require you to improve this so it might help you. i myself put it on 4 GB and most packs run better now.
I can't figure out how to get a backpack :/
