Install Lay of the Land

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Lay of the Land) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Lay of the Land from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

The server is not Vanilla meaning that some mods may conflict or some code goes wonky. On a server this is far more likely as multiple people are playing, not to mention that the server is fairly small and only the owner can fix these issues when they occur. I don't like the downtime no one should but its going to happen and sometimes will take some time to fix. Please stop comparing this server to vanilla cause its bloody well not.

I've seen posts and comments in chat about the server's downtime being awful and people saying that any normal server wouldn't have this, but the thing is its not a normal server its modded.

Its cause luv is the only one who can fix the server and he is barely on

This server needs some staff that are more dedicated to the server. Any other server had this much downtime and it would be left in the dust. The downtime for this server is ridiculous.

I agree but since this is a good mod pack and this is the only server (that I know of) for it, it wont be left in the dust.

They need more servers for this pack so that staff actually try. since there is no competition for players, the staff dont care and do whatever they want. if there was another server, they wouldnt want players to leave to go to that other server, thats why they need more than one official server.

Honestly, If it's the Twilight Forest that causes all of this, why leave it in the pack? It messes up clients as well from what I've heard... So why is it in the pack still?

So, the server has been "down" (no one can join, although the server says it's on) for several hours now. I hope the owner knows, because it doesn't seem like anyone is trying to fix it :/ I hope they don't think it's working because it's "on". I really want to get on, so PLEASE hurry!
