It's not as fast, but the Thaumcraft axe "Axe of the Stream" is a nice alternative.
Yo, the thing won't even launch for me. It starts the program to launch but just quits. Something with the mods is conflicting.

Hey, I downloaded this last night on the last update got it running and my server. I have not played since 2012 and never made a server with a technic pack. I was on my server earlier and my game crashed. Since that crash i havent been able to connect due to Invalid Session. I updated my server and the game to the newest one and its still doing it. I tried to connect to your server and it did it again. So it must be a client error. I already reinstalled the mod, Thank you.

It says that it can't connect
same problem I am having.

It was the cube of annihilation causing it. The mod creator is aware and will fix in next patch. We have disabled the item until then. Servers back up!

Just updated the pack, fixes a few bugs and duping glitches with the camping backpacks. Waiting on the seasons mod to update which should help with load times and errors. Server is backing up, should be live again soon!
Really love this modpack. Added Tinker's Construct, ItemPhysics, and Natura manually, which I think fit in nicely, and it's virtually perfect (be Nic eto see these added in future). Noticed some of the 'pan' recipes clash with the knives/katanas, unfortunately.

Thanks for the feedback, I am not a fan of tinkers to be honest. It's a bit too OP for the pack, I like the vanilla grind feeling which balances everything. I just fixed the skillet recipe in the latest update. Item physics looks cool!
I would really enjoy seeing NEI and Walia added to this! They help players understand complex mods far easier.

It could be interesting to add some more magic to it, like the Ars Magica 2 mod.
Though, that said, this is already SOO good. It deserves more likes and downloads than it has
