Check the difficulty in settings.
Yeah, I had that too. You start the first time on Peaceful mode

I recommend adding Applied Energistics for the Storage things so you could travel and set up your base in a snap or contact Makers of ThaumCraft and ask them to make a way to seal an entire chamber in a door so you could walk in and either be in another dimension that drains vis or something else that way we can really get the "Lay of the Land" and travel ALL the time

Hey I can't get back on the server I went into the nether and it keeps giving me a message whenever I try to log on "fatal error connection has been terminated" can anyone help?

Yeah, we went to the nether and that happened, and i was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem, then i restarted my game and it just told me "error: try restarting your game" and it still doesnt work

Day 2 of stuck
Still didn't get any help. Just stuck here standing trapped and all alone. I feel sick from the nausea effect the portal has. I beg if anyone finds this diary plz help me.
