READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING This server modpack was created for players, like me, who are looking for a challenge. You will be required to utilize the majority of the mods in this modpack as well as interacting with the server economy in order to progress through the game. (In case you are wondering, you will not get the full experience unless you are playing on my server). If you are looking for a server modpack that is fast paced, grants kits, has many plugins, and allows you to get rich within a week, then you may want to look around for another modpack. See below the picture for complete details about the server, rules, and why I made this modpack.

Here are a couple of things that you should know about my server. I have made this list in complete honesty so that when you log in, you know exactly what to expect. Should you read through this and have a problem with some of the things listed here, you may not have the same experience that others who join the server may have.

  • This server has active staff

And the owner(me) is obsessed with this server. I wanted my own modpack and server to play on and my friends did to. So we worked hard on the server and made it into something that we all love to play on. Why make a server modpack if you don’t think you’ll play on it every day?

Wondering why your quarry isn’t mining? Waste your money on the wrong item? Feel free to ask around on the server for help. We will be happy to help you with any question, problematic player, or any other situation that requires staff attention. As for the quarry question, quarries are only allowed in the mining world and they also require a chunk loader to function if you choose to leave the area.

  • This server has rules

No griefing of any kind, period – even if it’s unclaimed, you will still face punishment should you be caught messing with another player’s belongings. There are exceptions and every case is different. Therefore, each punishment will be different. Overall, if it isn’t yours, don’t touch it, simple.

Pvp is for self-defense only – yes we have weapons and war vehicles, and if you want to mess with your friends then that is fine. However, not everyone will agree to pvp and punishment will ensue and I do believe that if you are trespassing on another player’s claimed property then the other player has the right to remove you from the premises by any means necessary and also has the right to report you to staff for violating the next rule.

Respect everyone – respect staff, respect the server, players on the server, players off the server, everyone’s property, and be respectful with your language. I’m not expecting everyone to be “pc” but I will not tolerate racial slurs or swearing.

  • This server is NOT pay to win

I personally fund this server myself and I do not accept donations of any kind. I have eliminated the need to donate to my server as players will have access to plenty of chunks for their town, and players also have 25 chunks at their disposal! I also have no interest in implementing a voting system at this time. If and when I do implement a voting system, the rewards will be at a minimum.

  • This server keeps it simple

I literally have no intention for installing half a million plugins for a modded server. If the plugin doesn’t stop griefers, add an economy system, aid the staff in everyday tasks, or add basic functionality to the server, then you won’t find it in my server.

  • This server has plenty of mods

Same rule applies to mods in my modpack. We all took the time tweaking the config files in order to make the server stable. Adding a new mod isn’t as easy as you may think and we don’t need players logging in and giving us a list of suggestions. This will result in a permanent ban. The proper way of asking for a new addition to the modpack would be to use the /mail command in game and then enter a suggestion for one mod every week. I will gladly look into it and load it into my test server and see if it is eligible for my modpack. I will then get back with you.

Enough of the boring server rules and stuff. Here are the reasons that make my server stand out!

  • This server is challenging

When was the last time you built a blast furnace from Railcraft when Mekanism was installed? Well, get ready to do it again. When I say this server is challenging, I don’t mean that everything costs more resources. Resources are easily obtained through quarries and just making things more expensive means that players just sit and wait longer for their ME systems to fill… boring. Instead, the recipes on my server require the player to dive into a variety of different mods in order to progress through the game. This method, which instead of just taking time alone, requires knowledge, skill, time, and resources combined. Players will have to find alternatives to power as some of the mekanism generators have been nerfed and players will have to use ic2 for a nuclear reactor as the Big Reactors reactor controller has been made uncraftable (the turbine can still be crafted for those who wish to use steam power).

  • This server is challenging (cont).

This server has some mods installed that add block physics, body temperature, air quality, extreme weather, and modded hunger. These were added to enhance the realism of an actual world. When you spawn in for the first time, you get 1 kit automatically and that is all you get. The kit contains a paxel, some food, and that is it. There are shops at spawn to buy some extra materials but it is recommended that you claim your town first. I just didn’t want to become one of those types of servers that hand out multiple kits that grant machines and allows players to skip ahead of all the basic survival things.

  • This server has a revolutionary economy

So here’s the larges thing about the server that really makes it stand out from the rest. This bit of information will either spark interest in players, or chase them away. I have been on a lot of servers and most of them would boast that they have an economy. However, this was not entirely true because there was just no point for the economy in most of these servers out there. I would make a lot of money really fast and then have absolutely no reason to spend it. Then there are the cases when the servers would force you to spend the money or else you would not be able to protect your town from greifers or even worse, you lose your town entirely. And then you get the servers that have these “fake” economies that just use the money to force players to vote for their server just so that they can fund their town. I do not use any of these tactics on my server and never will. Instead, I thought of something that would be fun for people. On my server, your town upkeep is balanced on how much land you own. Claiming chunks are cheap, and starting a new town is easy for everyone. If you think you can afford more land then the only thing stopping you is your ability to manufacture products in order to support yourself. So what’s the point of having an economy on my server, how does one create a legit demand for cash aside from town upkeep? Simple, I made some of the components for the machines cost money to craft. Low tier machines are nearly free and high tier machines become super expensive! This makes the game progressively harder for the rich player and yet still quite easy for players who are starting out!

If you are reading this and are excited to hop on my server, then install this modpack, give us a like, and expect no surprises when you log in! Enjoy!

Latest Update

Had to push a major cleanup on unused mods and broken previously loved mods. This means that our major issue, FPS drops, has most likely been fixed but this required a world wipe.
