Accessing Modpack Files:
To access the modpack's files, go to "Modpack Options" and click the "Open" button next to the text that says "Install Folder." This folder is called "mechanical-dreams." Please note that I will not list the folders preceding "mechanical-dreams".
FAQ:
Q: Why does my game keep crashing when starting up?
A: Enabling fast render in video settings will cause the modpack to crash upon start up. To remedy this, set "ofFastRender=false" in "optionsof.txt" (Location: .../mechanical-dreams).
Q: Why does my game keep crashing randomly while I'm playing?
A: This could be due to a lot of things, but most often it is because of the expanded video settings provided by OptiFine. The easiest fix is to reset the video settings to their defaults (located in the Other section of your in-game video settings). You can confirm that this is the issue if your latest crash report mentions something about an error with the tesselator.
Q: Why are some items invisible?
A: For Mac users, certain textures will not be visible. To remedy this, set "enabled=false" in "splash.properties" (Location: .../mechanical-dreams/config). This disables the forge loading screen, but allows you to see all the items.
Q: Why do blocks from Chisel randomly become invisible?
A: This has something to do with multi-core chunk loading provided by OptiFine. By changing the Chunk Loading setting from multi-core to smooth or default, the problem will be remedied, though some performance will be sacrificed depending on your computer.
