Install Beta 1.12.2 - Aether & tech!

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Beta 1.12.2 - Aether & tech!) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Beta 1.12.2 - Aether & tech! from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Do you miss the days when creating a new world meant an entire new adventure? When you tried making an aether portal in minecraft beta 1.7.3, but it didn't work, because you were a kid and didn't realize that the aether was a mod? Do you like tech mods, as well?

Well, get ready to re-live a part of your childhood, but better!

This modpack has been tweaked to offer the most beta-like experience possible, while still keeping all the great features of modern minecraft, and adding some extra ones!

Thanks to mods like Beta days, Beta+, and Optifine, minecraft looks and plays just like it did in 2011! No more hunger, no more modern combat, beta terrain generation and rendering, spam click bows, and so, so much more!

This is no vanilla pack though; some of the most popular mods from 2011 that have been ported to modern versions of minecraft are here, too! You're here for the aether mod, aren't you? The legendary classic aether mod... But that's not all! Nethercraft is also present, and so is buildcraft!

Additionally, galacticraft and the galaxy space addon are also present! I believe they are among the best and most fun mods ever made, and are sure to challenge the player to reach places no minecraftian reached before!
