Install Minecraft Beta Reborn

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Minecraft Beta Reborn) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Minecraft Beta Reborn from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

PLEASE NOTE: Technic modpacks can be installed on muiltiple other launchers that you may already own, installations instructions are provided at the bottom of this page.

Beta Reborn is a recreation of the look, feel & gameplay of pre-release Minecraft made on a newer version for greater flexibility of options as well as better server performance.

Technic Install Guide:

  1. Install Java 17 which can be found here: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/jdk17-archive-downloads.html
  2. On the technic launcher, you can either copy the URL of this page onto the search bar or lookup "Beta Reborn" and from there click Install.
  3. While thats going, head into "Launcher Options" followed by "Java Settings" and change "Minecraft Java Version" to Java 17, which shows up as "Oracle 17".
  4. After that, set your "Memory" anywhere from 4 GB to 6 GB, as that should be more than enough for a modpack like this, although i would avoid allocating over half your PC's ram.
  5. Boot up the modpack and enjoy!

MuiltiMC Install Guide:

  1. Install Java 17 which can be found here: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/jdk17-archive-downloads.html
  2. click "Add Instance" then under the Technic category search "Minecraft Beta Reborn" and then click Ok to Download.
  3. Once finished, right click the Beta Reborn instance and click "Edit Instance" and head down to "Settings"
  4. Under the "Java" Tab, enable Java Installation, hit Auto-detect and then select Java 17 which comes up as "jdk-17"
  5. in the same Java Tab, Check the memory box and set the minimum RAM to 2gb (2048 MiB) and the maximum anywhere from 4gb (4096) to 6gb (6144). Which for a newer modpack like this should be more than sufficient, although you don't want to use over half of your PC's total Ram as that can slow down background programs.
  6. Run the pack and enjoy!
