Hi, after some unsuccessful attempts to breed perfect IV pokemon I've noticed that either mechanics changed (compared to the wiki) or something is broken with it. Sometimes the child doesn't inherit IV of any parent (ex. parents speed IVs of 18 and 31 sometimes results in child's 22 as reported by \ivs). I would look at it but pixelmon reforged isn't open-source, is it? Cheers.
Oh, sorry it was my misunderstanding, parents combined pass 3 IVs, not each one 3. It looks fine ;)
Hello, a friend and I cannot seem to join a any server "failed to login:invalid session"
And restarting the launcher, the computer, dowloading tchnic again and even changing my username to a simpler one is unefficient

Hi! when me and my brother played today via Lan my game crashed and when we started it again my brothers progress was wiped (exept the pokemon he left in his pc). all he was left with was a level 0 bulbausaur with o in every stat and it wasent able to heal up. Is there a way to fix this ?
Does logging out and back in fix it? LAN is notoriously unreliable due to the weird way it works.
so i have a strange problem. when i try to enter a pc nothing happens... so i can acess my boxes
Did you raise your box count above the default before in the settings? I believe 7.0.2 fixes this, but in 7.0.1 very high values may cause issues. If you don't have anything in those higher boxes, try lowering that number. BE CAREFUL: Anything in the boxes beyond what you set the number to will be wiped!
Is there any way to get the evolution items like protector, magmarizer etc, without having to rely on random drops. I believe u cant craft them anymore.
Some of them may be world loot, though I'm not 100% sure on which ones are. Crafting recipes may be coming back in some form at some point, but we'd need to find more balanced recipes for them.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but, in the Ranch Block for breeding some Pixelmon say they are uncomfortable in the environment. But the thing is if i switch the spots the pokemon are in the one that said its uncomfortable says it loves so and so more each day. I'm not sure if its me or a bug.

I also found a bug and don't know how to get rid of it. If you use the Exp-share (all) a pokemon with a level up will get out of his ball. Also the growing of Berries doesn't work for me. Planting okay but then nothing happens.
The send-out issue is known, and is being looked into. Berries should work, but they're very slow. Check the wiki for more information, there!

Just wanted to point out a bug that when you put in or take Pokemon out of the ranch block the game completely crashes
Known issue, doesn't seem to affect all interactions but it does affect some. Should be fixed for the upcoming version.
Hi i have a question, i just got a necrozma and a shiny solgaleo, i fused the 2 and have the necrozium Z on the pokemon, i have the move photon geyser and all but i can't Z move, so how do i use the Z move to get ultra necroma then
Ultra Necrozma isn't in just yet, still a few forms missing. Work in progress!

Since the update I have very few NPC trainers etc spawning and the Pokemon spawns are much less any help on a fix
You should be able to tweak the spawn rates in your in-game config, using the "P" key. There's currently a bug that requires a restart before some of those settings apply, though.
Hi, I'm having serious problems with this update, I began a new world just to check the new stuff and tried to choose Litten as my starter, but the game didn't let me choose it, instead it returned to the selection screen. I tried also with popplio and rowlet several times and it was the same, I had to choose a starter from another generation so the game could let me continue.
Then something weird happened, just a few wild pokemon spawned near me, but as I moved in any direction there were no pokemon spawning at all. Anywhere. Structures such as pokemon centers and npc villagers where spawning normally on villages, but anywhere else was totally deserted.
And then I tried to take froakie (the starter I selected) out of its pokeball and the game just froze completely, I had to start the task manager to close minecraft. I tried a couple of time and it was the same. Even I tried to reinstall the 7.0.1 version, and forge as well, and still I'm having the same behavior from the game. Please help!! I'd like to know if it's something wrong with the mod or with the game or if it's something I'm doing incorrectly.

Do you have a "pixelmon" folder in your profile folder? Same place as "mods", "logs", etcetera. If that's there, remove or move it and then restart the game. if that doesn't help, join the Discord and post your logs -- we'll be able to look into this better there.

Hey, so how does exactly adding custom skins to trainer NPCs work? I've added all of the skins into the mod's jar file by opening it up with WinRar, added them into the right directory, I think: assets/pixelmon/textures/steve and yet when I try adding the name of the file on the NPC trainer it keeps coming out with black and purple broken textures.
The skins are 64x64 too... :/
It used to work just great on the old Pixelmon mod
Please don't edit the .jar, you shouldn't ever be in there and it's against our ToS. You're going to break stuff by adding things there directly. I believe NPC skins are added through a custom resource pack. The Discord should be able to provide you with more specific instructions, there.
Hey, the new update is actually really cool and well done so far. Recently, I've been playing the Pokémon games along with this just because and I got a couple ideas. When summoning Giratina at the Timespace Altar, it would be kind of cool if instead of him just appearing, you could wander the Distortion World a little and find him. Of course the Distortion World wouldn't be huge or anything like that, maybe it's just the replacement for the end or something like that just to add a little bit of that immersive bit to the game. And with Landorus, in the games you summon him at a shrine when you have both Tornadus and Thundurus in your party. Maybe that would be cool? Idk, just gotta throw out some ideas. You're awesome and thanks for the update!
Glad you're enjoying it! The Distortion World suggestion may be a good thing to post on the old Pixelmon forums, in the suggestions section. As for Landorus/Tornadus/Thundurus... I believe the plan is to have an unique event for every legendary at some point, so that's probably in the cards already.
Hey. I had this problem in the old version and now in 7.0.1. I have no problem with the mod itself it works good but after few minutes after joining a server or singleplayer the world rendering goes wrong. Chunks dissappear or kind of blinking. Need some help
If you go to Launcher Options > JAVA SETTINGS, does it say 64 or 32 bit for the currently-used Java version in the top box? If it says 32 bit, try using the 64 bit offline Java installer on https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and then restart Technic. With a bit of luck that will fix it already -- 32 bit is glitchy, vanilla MC issue. If it doesn't, join the Discord and ask in #general-support! People there may be able to help, and can also look at your logs if necessary.

I have a server that has this newest version and a few people on there noticed that there are no gyms spawning with the towns or anywhere really. I checked the pixelmon.hocon file and made sure the spawnGyms property was set to true and it is.
Any ideas?

ok now this is redicolous, i just came back to my server after being away a few hours an i have lost my starter fraligater lv 34 completley vanished and my other only pokemon csnt heal no matter how many times i put it in the healer i just says fainted
Got any logs? Might be worth joining the Discord (link to the right) and posting them there. With a bit of luck those will show what's going wrong, here.
my game keeps crashing after a few minutes. When i looked at the crash report it says something about a tick loop and list the legendary spawn codes. I'm in a void world and i think it's having trouble with spawning. I have spawning dimensions set to nothing and the config is set to use the better spawn file. I also tried turning off legendary spawns but it still crashes eventually. i haven't built out far and the biome is still set to "the void". I don't have any spawners set up yet either. so there are absolutely no pokemon anywhere yet. I can't find a fix online so I searched for Pixelmon Reforged 7.0.1 forums and this came up. if its like the main series games If I remember correctly you have to level up above lvl 20 then its similar to a mega evolve.

just checked, after level 20 and above 25% health it will be school form, returns to solo form below 25% health. if it is the same in Pixelmon
well i just caught a lvl 30 and its definitely not going off
