Install Project AAA | Better Vanilla

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Project AAA | Better Vanilla) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Project AAA | Better Vanilla from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Server Configuration

As for now, I don't distribute dedicated server files. So, if you want to play online with friends, creating a server is simple:

  1. Go to "Play offline"
  2. Create a new world or select an existing one
  3. Pause the game and click "Open to LAN"
  4. Here, you can change settings to your liking and then open a server
  5. You'll see your port in the chat. Your friends will connect using this formula: your_ip:given_port
  6. Port forward or use hamachi in order to make your server visible to everyone

Optimization

Project AAA is graphically demanding. Do not play it unless you have a PC which can handle it. To decrease lag, you can change draw distance to be less than 8. Restarting the game and entering your world again can also help.

Latest Update

The project is not forgotten, I just have more important stuff to do now and the current state of the pack is stable. An update is going to be when mods will have a new version or when I'll see an opportunity to port this pack to the newer MC version
