Is there a mod in this pack to convert RF to MJ? Please consider adding such a mod, as it appears Buildcraft only supports MJ, but most mods in this pack only generate RF or EU (like IC2, what I'm trying use). I really love using this pack but this limitation is not ideal. Thank you for the consideration.

Because BuildCraft in in apha, it only supports MJ, but to convert any energy to MJ you can use Energy Converters mod which is included in this modpack. More info on how to use converters from this mod: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/energy-converters

Hi there, hopefully someone can help me, for some reason with this modpack, i cant trade with villagers, tried on survival, creative and on several different world types, thank you... Other than that, the pack is bloody awesome!
Blokewithsuperpowers 6 years ago
If you want to enable trading with villagers, you can delete VillagerTradingBan mod from the /mods/ folder

Thank you so much, ill do that, really looking forward to streaming this (provided thats ok with you, of course).

so far everything from this works for me in solo, but i wanted to make a server to play with friends since you dont seem to have one to download on here. I tried inserting all the mods into the mods folder of a forge server i made but im getting a ton of errors in red text in the server batch file. I am also new to making my own server forge files with mods included.

id be interested if you get that working, and from the lack of servers of it im finding im guessing theirs probably a few others who would be

All you have to do is copy your bin, config and mods folder and paste it in the your server folder. Once thats done you just have to run forge jar file. If its the first time running it will close its self. All you have to do is open the eula and turn false to true then save and relaunche the server using the forge jar file

version 2.2.0 is giving me an error upon clicking the install button. it reads: "Error downloading a file for the following pack: TCR Classic Refined 1.12+ Failed to download https://files.janchaloupka.cz/tcr-classic-refined-2.2.0.zip Please consult the modpack author." just thought i'd give a heads up

upon further looking into it, appears to be unable to find valid certification path to requested target, as best i can tell its a truststore problem from java, although i dont know how to fix it. who knows maybe ill stumble on the fix
Posted by Akynashark 6 years ago
Thank you for reporting this issue. The reason for this error was expired certificate on my webserver. I just renewed the cert, so everything should work.

ty for the reply, i was this close to activating the truststore bypass. anyhow glad i could help, now i just have to find a server hosting the pack
Posted by Akynashark 6 years ago
hmm still recieiving the same error, i wonder does it take time to update or something
Posted by Akynashark 6 years ago
checked some other packs to see if it was on my end, most worked, though the older tcr 1710 version also threw the same error figured it would since its hosted on same site as 112 version
Posted by Akynashark 6 years ago
It should work pretty much immediately. I have Let's Encrypt certificate and it seems like this certificate is supported with JDK 8u101+ or 7u111+, so please check if you have latest Java installed.

i have 1.8.0_171, i think its latest but ill check

after looking into it abit i find that java home is still pointing to an older version. ill let you know if it works after i fix that
Posted by Akynashark 6 years ago
it appears to be working now, after setting java_home to the correct directory. ironically i probably would have had the issue from the start even if your cert wasn't expired. glad something good came of it. so i dont suppose you know any good servers hosting the pack :)

I'm not sure what is wrong, but every time i start this up it will get to 3/7 and will stop responding for a second then close right after. I don't see why it won't start.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have few troubleshooting suggestions, that could resolve your problem: * Allocate more RAM in the launcher (2GB should be enough) * Reinstall the modpack * Update java to latest version If none of these fixes your problem, please send me your log (located in /logs/latest.log).

Have you considered adding Modular Powersuits to this mudpack? It's really fun to mess around with!
Brightnow 6 years ago
I would like to add Modular Powersuits, but unfortunately the mod isn't compatible with Minecraft 1.12
