Install TechDiff

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (TechDiff) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select TechDiff from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

I made this pack for want of a suitable ratio between a game packed full of tech and a fast and easy to run pack. It includes all the essentials like AE2 and Tinker's Construct, some big magic mods like Equivalent Exchange (ProjectE), mods that add new dimensions to explore like TwilightForest, mods especially for builders such as Carpenter's Blocks and Chisel 2 and mods that are fun to experiment with like ComputerCraft and Railcraft.


When you first open the game, it should look something like this:



I've included a key so you know what the buttons do. I made this screen with the CustomMainMenu mod. Bear in mind that this isn't the main menu's final form.
