Can you update Railcraft?
The current railcraft is 3 years old and full of (unplayable) bugs, the newer betas have solved almost everyone of them.

Hey - I wrote this over GitHub: I'm not using Railcraft's latest beta version because it comes with a long winded nonconfigurable warning message printed to chat, telling you to not use it in public modpacks.
That being said, it's been stuck on beta-8 for over 2 months now, so if you want to ask over their Discord what's up you're welcome to!
Why not add a power friendly mod like Energy Converters (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/energy-converters) This pack is 1.12 and you do have other mods in the pack that were not true to the original Tekkit. Just getting really tired of making junk, only to not have it work properly.
Think there's other ways of converting the energy in the pack mate, like flux generators.
You can use Flux Generators to convert EU to RF. What mods do you not find true to the original?

You need to have the right version of Java installed. Head over to Technic's Discord for help with that :)
I uninstalled Java 17 and it worked fine. But for 1.19.2, Java 17 is required. Is there a way to install both?
You might need to specify the path to the right Java version in the server launch script.
Hey love that this is coming back, this was a great mod pack and i love the pipes mod. so im wondering if there's a mod to stop water from regenerating so that you have to drain an body of water just like lave but the only thing is the mod that dose that probably makes it so when you get a bucket of it the water makes the ugly flowing effect. this is just a idea not a request I don't even know if I would really it for other things.

Unlikely, I'd recommend using Logistics Pipes, but if you really want AE2 you can add it yourself manually :)
Hi! Before anything else, HUGE thanks to this modpack, I LOVE IT!! But thats not the reason i write this sadly. I have noticed some issues and I don't know if anyone mentioned it, so I will. If I use IC2:C machines with import upgrades (the red ones) and I use a PE storage such as an alchemical chest or energy condenser, then the macerator tries to pull items from the storage and if the storage has 2 or more stack of iron ore for example then it pulls the first stack and when it has space it pulls the secound stack but it only pulls 1 because the macerator only has 1 slot (64->process->63->can pull 1) and somehow in the storage it removes that 1 which got pulled but it regenerates to 64 somehow. If you pull out half a stack input from the macerator then it pulls half a stack of items and that leaves half a stack in the storage which regenerates to 64 too. If my message is a little bit confusing I can record and send ingame footage to prove.

Unfortunately BuildCraft pipes are unfinished - that's why Flux Cables were added as an alternative :)
Hello. Is it possible to add RedPower2 mod to this modpack (The one that haves pneumatic tubes) or not really ? Btw, big thanks for creating this modpack, I realy enjoy playing it, brings a lot of nostalgia :)
I'm so glad you're enjoying it :) Regarding pneumatic tubes, unfortunately RedPower was never ported to 1.12.2, and Project Red (its recreation) has alternative tubing. If someone were to recreate pneumatic tubes for 1.12.2 I'd love to add them!

Really love the pack, I was going to add AE2 or something but I might finally give logistics pipes a go (really have avoided them every time I ever played modded mc).
Anyway I have noticed a couple of issues, probably with the mods themselves, but I'll just post them here anwyays.
In the Recycler / Compacting Recycler of IC:C the ProjectE Philosophers stone provides infinite input without getting deleted. Probably not a huge deal since cobble isn't even disabled by default.
Another thing is the Crafting Table IV, which has always been a bit of a fun glitchy mod, doesn't have items from some mods by default, assuming that is intentional, however sometimes when crafting things from Steve's Carts using it, it will pop out a random Philosopher's Stone, which is annoying, and led me to discovering the Recycler thing :)

Hey there, Yesterday, I was able to play 1.0.1 just fine (my friend was making the server and only had 1.0.1 files) but today is says "Error downloading a file for the following pack: Tekkit 2 Failed to get Mojang JRE information Please consult the modpack author."
running into this myself now actually.
Went back to 1.0.2 and it works again so its something to do with .3
if you haven't updated your java 64 bit since Aug. that seems to be the issue, I rolled back updated my java went back to .3 and it works fine.
Seems to have been a temporary issue with the launcher, should be all good now!
Great modpack! But noticed an issue when trying to make teleport pipes, they don't show up on the JEI? but can find them in singleplayer creative menu, any tips?
Unfortunately they were hidden due to issues. If any developer would be able to continue support for the mod, I'd be happy to reenable them :)
Love the mod pack! Brings back the old memories of the original Tekkit!
Just wondering if ChickenChunks might possible be installed in the future? I have seen there is a config for the server but it doesn't have the jar installed for it. Not a proble if not, brings me way back!

Worldspikes are used as chunk loaders in Tekkit 2 :)
There is any reason why the logistic pipes doesnt work with industrial craft machines? they never supply items to them even where there are providers on the same network, it work with other chests or mods but not between logistics and IC
