Install Tekkit SMP

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekkit SMP) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekkit SMP from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Tekkit SMP Version 1.0.2

created by xJon on Minecraft 1.12.2 using Technic Solder

Tekkit SMP updated to version 1.0.2

Maintenance update!

Changes:
• Updated 20 mods to their latest versions, featuring various improvements and fixes. One example is that Iron Pipes now require a wrench as intended!
• Added JEI Area Fixer, and removed Lost Magic (as it's now embedded into ReForbidden Magic).
• Various configuration improvements.

That's it! Enjoy :)

Thank you for maintaining the modpack! I have one question though: it is possible to convert EU to RF (via Electrical Engine or Flux Generator) but is it possible to convert RF to EU? I cannot find a way to do so. If there is no way to convert RF to EU, then perhaps the "Energy Converters" mod should be added in the next update? Though its crafting recipes will have to be adapted to work with IC Classic.

There's no way to convert RF to EU by design - you are encouraged to generate EU :)

I see... Personally, I prefer to constantly exchange between RF and EU because RF can be transported over long distances without any losses, while all EU cables always lose EU energy after a certain distance. Thus it is possible to convert EU -> RF, transport RF over a long distance somewhere, and then convert RF -> EU at the destination. Thank you for your reply, but I will try to install the Energy Converters mod.

This is one of the reasons there's no RF to EU conversion :) If you want to transport energy for very far away distances (including between dimensions), see this: https://github.com/TinyModularThings/IC2Classic/wiki/Teleporter

Oh, I was unaware that a teleporter could transfer energy. Thank you for letting me know!
