Electricity generation is always a heavy burden. That's why we are here to bring in high tech nuclear power to solve all your electricity deficiency problems. With our fission reactors, fusion reactors, antimatter generators and thorium power, you won't be short of electricity ever again! Note that this mod is still in alpha stage so documentation on items are not done properly.

Big Reactors is a mod for Minecraft, built on the Forge modding platform.
The mod is designed to be a mid-to-late-game complement to less-realistic mods such as Thermal Expansion, Applied Energistics, and Minefactory Reloaded. These mods all offer fun ways to manipulate and "industrialize" your Minecraft world, and rely on a shared power framework.
My core design goal is to provide fun, engaging power systems that are "inspired by" real ones, while maintaining a light-hearted "video game" feel. It should be fun to set up your reactor, fun to modify it, and fun to figure out how to make it work the way you want: more power, less fuel consumption, or even a highly-automated sprawling mega-reactor should all be possible.
Further, the way I wanted the mod to work was to move away from big, heavy-weight UI systems. A reactor shouldn't be a series of toggles on a menu, or slots in an inventory! It should be a giant, humming, enormous machine that you build piece-by-piece. Every piece you add should change how the reactor works, so actually building it is fun.

This mod adds slopes and a custom variety of vanilla-inspired blocks to the game! They may look like ordinary frames or wooden blocks in their base form, but they can actually be covered with nearly any block in the game. The frame will inherit the cover block's texture and most of it's other properties including flammability, explosion resistance, and more.
Quality chunkloaders for everybody!

Thermal Expansion, at its core, is a 'tech' mod - it's a mod of what ifs. For example, what if you could turn water into ice or snow with a machine? Or how about a machine that could combine lava and water however you choose? What if there were a wool that didn't burn? Or, what if you could set up advanced yet extremely compact production chains that didn't require redstone engines or complex pipe routing? If any of that interests you, then you may want to check this out.

This is a block that loads chunks. There is a limit on the number of chunks each non-op player can load in SMP, and each chunk loader can load an adjustable area.
This mod adds doors to Minecraft that open up to individual pocket Dimensions. In addition to these doors, it also adds several other features that help the player manipulate reality, forming rifts, linking dimensions, and even sending them to places they really should have never been.
EnderStorage is a mod that offers a means to store your items in The END, causing them to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. All EnderStorage makes use of the magic of colors to link storage with its little piece of The END. Any EnderStorage with the same color code share inventory (even across dimensions). Currently there are two types of storage, EnderChest and EnderPouch.
This mod allows you to transmute tons of materials into other materials.
ExtraCells is the first Applied Energistics Add-On, implementing quite some very usefull functions. EC began with just being an Add-On for bigger Storage Cells, but after that it evolved into the AE Fluid System. Thanks to EC you can now store Fluids/Liquids in the network, on storage cells or in real tanks, using the storage bus. Apart from fluids, EC also contains some usefull things like a backup battery, a ME Dropper and a fully customizable storage cell, which you can upgrade. And finally, my Blast Resistant ME Drive protects your storagecells against creeper explosions Posted Image
A few months ago I started tinkering with Minecraft modding as a way to better learn java. I had no serious intentions of ever making a proper mod so I basically threw in every silly and stupid idea that came to me. Most didn't work or were impractical for a real server but there were a few that I felt had potential and even some that I heard other users wishing they had. So I've decided to take the best ideas, polish it up and release it to the community and see if anyone else likes it.

A way to automatically farm plants and animals, as well some new rail tracks! With this mod you can set up a completely automated farm for any of these things that requires no real work aside from collecting the harvests and reloading the planter, without incredibly complex and unwieldy water/piston solutions. And you can milk cows to death or otherwise run livestock farms if you need those resources. Oh and it has conveyor belts too.

Travel to other worlds with the lost art of the D'ni. Craft worlds to your liking, but beware of writing too greedily or too sternly, or you will face perilous instability!
This is a fairly basic mod. It makes the eight 'ores' - coal, diamond, gold, iron, lapis, redstone, sopper and tin - spawn in the nether so that you have a reason to go there.
NEI is a successor to both Too Many Items and Recipe Book. It arose around the same time as Craft Guide when Alexandria and a few others on the IRC suggested that I merge both Too Many Items and Recipe Book to remove their greatest flaws, ironically too many items, or in the case of recipe book, too many recipies. Too Many Items was great, but the one thing it lacked was an easy way to search and sort your items. When you had a mod like Red Power coming along with 10000 items both TMI and Recipe Book were racking up the pages. Even if you don't want to use NEI for cheating in items, you will likely feel right at home with the Recipe component of the mod.
Additional NEI support for Buildcraft, Forestry, Tinker's Construct, Minefactory Reloaded, and others.

This mod is quite unlike any peripheral you've used before, because:
1) You don't need it installed client-side if you're playing in multiplayer
2) It doesn't use any item IDs or block IDs, so installing is just a case of dropping it into the mods folder
3) You'll rarely need to update it. Methods are all pulled from a remotely hosted configuration file in the github repository, so it'll regularly update without you needing to do anything
What does it do?
It turns various blocks within the game into peripherals, and exposes methods for you to call from the computer.

This is a very simple mod that only adds one thing to the game, the Project Bench. It's a simple block that is one part crafting bench, one part chest. It gives you the ability to place a recipe in the crafting area and make it multiple times with the supplies from the chest portion of it. There are 18 total spaces that will supply items to craft for the recipe if it is needed.

A mysterious mod- to get started, dig up Quantum Ore deep underground.
A reimplementation of Redpower frames, with more flexibility and functionality, and including many new types of frames.
Redstone Arsenal is an addon to Thermal Expansion, adding tools that are powered by Redstone Flux (the power system used by Thermal Expansion) and thus lose charge instead of taking damage. Not very complicated, you see? Recharging is as simple as tossing them inside your Energetic Infuser (or preferred mod-equivalent) and feed it power to keep your tools in the best possible shape! Or for the miner-on-the-go, try our new Flux Capacitors, now with 40% less creepers!
An amazing minimap display at the top right corner of the screen. Check out the thread above for a full list of all the features available with this mod.
This is a small mod that adds Redstone Flux-powered jetpacks to the game. If you don't know what Redstone Flux, or RF is, it's a power system that is used by Thermal Expansion, and some other mods as well.
Advanced modular carts - have them automine, run your tree farm, or just create the rail network of your dreams!

Chop down a tree with a single mighty blow!
Vending block lets you sell blocks and items.
I have the pleasure to introduce to you Waila (What Am I Looking At). Waila is an extension for NEI. It will show in the tooltip what mod an item is from. Since the tooltip contains the mod name, you can also easly parse items per mods.
But that's not all ! Leveraging an extended NEI HUD, it is also capable of showing the name of blocks and mods ingame, right on top of your screen.
And if this is not enough, it comes with a few integrated modules to show internal information of some specific blocks. For now, BC tanks have been implemented (shows the content, capacity and amount of fluid) and IC2 machines (shows the In/out voltage).

In its simplest this is a mod that allows you to transmit your redstone state wirelessly. Even if you dont use redstone this mod could still be for you. Found an awesome landscape you'd like to mark, a cool cave to explore, or keep losing your way from base to base? Ever wished that compass pointed somewhere else or there was a way to mark things on a map. Well now there is. With the wireless addons component of this mod you can use wireless signals for navigation.
