• Added Railway Depot Worker, which fixes a lot of Railcraft issues. Multiblocks should be drastically less laggy now!
• Also added XU2-Patcher (which fixes a few bugs in Extra Utilities 2), and JEI UU Assembler (which adds JEI integration for the IC2 UU Assembly Bench).
• Reforged was replaced with Balkon's WeaponMod: Legacy, which was just released and is more true to the original.
• Updated 21 mods to their latest versions. These updates include multiple improvements and fixes to reported bugs, as well as a major update to ICBM.
• A lot of configuration improvements, including various fixes and new default dimension IDs for Witchery and Thaumic Tinkerer (for better compatibility with old worlds).

Is that... a witch?
Changes:
• Added Witchery: Resurrected and (the recently released) Witchery: Companion, which means... Witchery is back! Thanks to the work of both of these mods, everyone who missed Witchery from 1.7.10 is going to be very pleased.
• Added Thaumic Isorropia, Thaumic Periphery, and Thaumcraft Integration - all of which add to the Thaumic experience.
• Replaced World Control with Energy Control, which is very well made and offers much better mod integrations.
• Also added Particle Culling, which improves performance and goes hand-in-hand with the new Void Fog feature in the pack.
• Removed the OpenEye mod as it caused longer load times on some systems.
• Updated 24 mods to their latest versions, which include a lot of fixes and improvements. Also, Cave Roots can now be used decoratively (outside of caves)!
• Some minor configuration tweaks, including enabling Nature's giant Redwood trees, and adding Multipart support for Arcane Stone blocks.
You can play this update already through the Latest branch in the launcher, and if no major issues arise it should soon be available to everyone by default. Enjoy :)

Time for a maintenance update!
Changes:
• Thaumic Tinkerer Unofficial was added, which continues the development of the old Thaumic Tinkerer, and supersedes Ichorium Kit. This resets Ichorium Kit progress, so if you lost anything important there's no shame in using cheats to get it back!
• Also added Advanced Alchemy Furnace (inspired by Thaumcraft 4's Advanced Alchemical Furnace), Just Enough Magiculture (many more Just Enough Resources integrations), Fix Experience Bug (resolves the disappearing experience bug when traveling between dimensions) & Better Invalid Session (clearer error message).
• Removed Fluidlogged API for now, in order to resolve the Magical Snow Globe crashes and avoid File Director dependency.
• Updated 33 mods to their latest versions, with those updates including a lot of fixes and improvements. This includes a fix to the extra-terrestrial Modular Powersuit crash, and updating to a fork of MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod.
• A lot of minor tweaks and fixes, including adding Thaumcraft 6 Inlay Fix to correct a texture, balancing some overpowered pirate loot, updating multiple mod config files due to new formatting, and more.
• Additionaly, the Twilight Forest's Uncrafting Table was re-enabled, despite the many possible exploits. It was enabled for regular use, but if using it for exploits sounds more fun to you than enabling cheats directly - go ahead! Server owners please note.
This update is available on the Latest branch, and hopefully will be pushed soon to everyone else using Recommended.

Big maintenance update, featuring many improvements, and among other things, waterlogged furniture!
Changes:
• SerializationIsBad was added, to patch a serious security vulnerability that is found in a few mods.
• Fluidlogged API was added, and properly configured. This backports the waterlogging ability to many pipes and other tile entities! Also added Snow! Real Magic!, which adds some snowlogging features and other snow related features.
• VintageFix was added, which improves the loading speed of the modpack dramatically (reduces it by 15-20%), and improves RAM usage. Also added Sledgehammer, which fixes various minor bugs, and Thaumic Fixes (which patches currently one Thaumcraft bug).
• Also added Deep Below (new underwater structure?), Modern Splash (new loading screen), Just Enough Recipe Integrations & IC2X UU-Matter (more in-game info), ICBM Classic: Computer Craft Addon, Advancement Locator, and ConfigAnytime. Make sure to learn more about all the new mods over the Mods tab!
• Removed FoamFix (replaced by VintageFix), Startup Timer (included in Modern Splash), SplashAnimation (currently incompatible with Modern Splash), DupeFix Project (now included in Universal Tweaks), Fast Leaf Decay (now included & improved in Universal Tweaks), Entity Desync Fix (now included & improved in Universal Tweaks), and Born in a Barn (included in Forge).
• A lot of small configuration changes, fixes, and improvements (including a new recipe for recycling Fragmented Carbon).
• Updated 38 mods to their latest versions, including a major update to ICBM (which breaks existing multiblocks - please note), and some new custom forks of mods. Some of the updates contain very useful bug fixes and improvements, including a fix to the issue of the game not responding when entering a world or a server.

This new year is going to be magical, or at least this new year's modpack update!
This is the 4th major update of the modpack, and it's all about magical additions, alongside other smaller changes. We have 8 new mods!

• Added Smooth Scrolling Everywhere, Gravitation Suite Patcher, and IC2 Patcher, for a better playing experience.

The last update for 2020 is here!
This update is all about new gameplay features. You will be able to easily find different biomes, craft 3x3 recipes in your inventory, and much more.
This is the third major update of the modpack, and probably the last update until 2021. During 2020 we saw a lot of players enjoying the modpack, and you can expect more updates during 2021!
Changes:
• Added Additional Banners (more banner patterns), Charset Lib (library mod), Charset Crafting, Charset Immersion, Culinary Construct, ChatFlow (chat filtering), Let Sleeping Dogs Lie (dogs can finally get some rest), Mouse Tweaks (for item scrolling), Nature's Compass & NetherPortalFix.
• Charset Crafting features the pocket crafting table, which allows you to turn a part of your inventory into a 3x3 crafting grid. Charset Immersion lets you stack ingots, gears & more on surfaces!
• Culinary Construct allows you to create your own custom sandwiches, including nested ones! This greatly compacts your used food.
• Nature's Compass includes a craftable compass, which will allow you to find whatever biome you're looking for easily & quickly - very useful if you want to build your base in a unique area!
• A few config tweaks: fixes to some World Control recipes, changes to Plethora Peripherals' items' max energy, and a few other minor changes.
• Updated 16 mods to their latest versions. Some of these updates contain important bug fixes, and new features.

New update time! This update includes a couple of new useful mods, new mod updates and a few changes.
Changes:
• Added Linking Through the Ages (& Guidebook) which provide an in-game Mystcraft guide-book, mystcraft-info for more page tooltip info, and Just Enough Pattern Banners.
• Config changes, including changes to the Akashic Tome, and fixes to reported bugs over the modpack repository (link: https://bit.ly/2ORbNRi).
• The config changes also include an important change which enables Forge's auto-removal of erroring entities & tile entities (instead of crashing). After testing, this proved to prevent some small issues that affected gameplay. If you notice blocks removed from your world you might want to check your game log & report the issue. Remember to also utilize the auto-backups when needed.
• Updated 20 mods to their latest versions.

The Modular update is here!
This update is all about modularity, flexibility & extra functionality. Do you want to build drawbridges, or save & send blueprints of your builds? This is all possible, starting now.
This is the second major update of the modpack and you can expect a fair few changes. Make sure to forward any feedback or bug reports over bit.ly/The-1-12-2-Pack-Issues to help the modpack's development!
Changes:
• Added Modular Routers, Schematica, Zetta Industries, Plethora Peripherals (ComputerCraft peripheral provider) & Gas Conduits (which brings support for EnderIO gas pipes).
• Modular Routers is a very powerful & flexible mod for moving items around the world, all using the Item Router and its modules. Using it players can build contraptions like drawbridges, and much more!
• Schematica is a mod that lets you save and load schematic files in your world as a hologram, for easier building. It provides various features to simplify building big projects & allows players to save and share their creations.
• Zetta Industries adds many features that work with other mods; one of them is the QuarryFixer, which helps your quarries deal better with lava. It's very recommended to check it out for more details!
• A few config tweaks: the Strange Crystal can be used in the IC2 Replicator; enabled Quark's Color Runes and Dragon Scales; Thermal Expansion coins can now be created; and a few more minor changes.
• Updated 38 mods to their latest versions. Some of these updates contain important bug fixes, and new features.
• Morph mob abilities have been implemented! Players now can steal the unique abilities of different mobs (the flying ability is disabled by default for balance reasons).
• Thaumic Tinkerer has more functionality now as it has been updated from alpha to beta.
• This new modpack version now uses Mixin 0.8 and should support the latest versions of SpongeForge better.

The Quark update is here!
Like quarks, each individual added feature is small, but they build into a larger whole (taken from description of the Quark mod) - this is what this update is all about.
This is the first feature update of the modpack and it is big. Please note that performance should be the same but the loading time might extend by about half a minute.

Changes:
• By your request, added Planet Progression & Quark! Both are heavily modified and configured, also by using the newly added CraftTweaker & its addon LootTweaker.
Also added Construct's Armory, Bad Wither No Cookie - Reloaded and the Unloader mod.
• We've been working with the author of Planet Progression to add some newly exciting features to the mod, especially with this modpack update. In order to find new planets & moons in your Galacticraft map, you will first need to research them. Research papers need to be used in the Telescope & can be obtained with the Satellite Controller by sending off your own research satellite! You can find more info in-game.
• Quark is heavily configured to fit with the theme and style of the modpack. It adds a lot of exciting new features including new world generation (underground biomes, crabs, pirates & more), new decorative blocks (colored chests, paper walls, stained wooden planks, and more), and literally hundreds of new small features. • Construct's Armory adds new armor options in the Tinkers Construct style. Bad Wither No Cookie - Reloaded will suppress server-wide Wither-killing-sound so Wither farms will not be annoying. The Unloader mod will improve performance by unloading unused dimensions.
• Wrote and added multiple custom scripts for CraftTweaker & LootTweaker which will introduce some tweaks & fixes that improve overall gameplay!
• Added a custom RestoreBackup.bat script with the server package. It's supposed to help with the fact that restoring backups on the server-side lacks a GUI. It will automatically restore the latest server backup, and the script can be modified to target a different backup.
• Many config tweaks, especially regarding the newly added mods. Should balance world generation more and introduce the new mods well in the pack.
• Updated 17 mods to their latest versions. Some of these updates contain very important bug fixes!

This is yet another minor update but with very important fixes - make sure to update! A bigger feature update is coming soon...
Changes:
• Made some important file changes regarding Extra Utilities 2, UniDict, Mystcraft, Galacticraft, NoMoreRecipeConflict, The Twilight Forest, Simply Jetpacks 2, Thermal Expansion, Biomes O' Plenty, VoxelMap and the JEI blacklist. Changed pack version configs.

First minor update! First update of December! And many more to come...
Changes:
• Added JAOPCA & WrapUp (its library) for extra ore processing compatibility. Also added Phosphor, but only on server-side due to incompatibility with DynamicLights on client.
• Changed some config files regarding JAOPCA, including the JEI blacklist, and removing some duplicate recipes. Changed pack version configs.
