I am trying to get this pack on my new computer, the one i am using now, and i cant quite get it. It gets to the black loading screen and gets to the very end, then goes back to the launcher. Please help.

Just let it load.
What mod is causing blocks to be pulled up and vanishing? There are small black particles, but nothing else to indicate what is going on.

hey,
first off Epic PACK love it :)
i added 4 space and dynamic transport mods and all was fine in 0.8.2 but in 0.8.4 its a bit laggy.
then i added EE3 (still wip i know) but i can play for 5 or 10 mins then whole thing freezes and have to end task on it, any chance someone can get these working in this pack?

Might be a noob question but what do i need to do to update my server so it runs the newest version?

As well as utilizing my old world saves.
Just replace the new provided files with the old ones :)
Hi, there is a bug regarding commons-codec-1.9.jar & commons-compress-1.9.jar not downloading server side when starting the server.

This is minor and you can ignore it.
Anyone have any idea as to how I can make steel? I can only see stuff for steel ore.

Use the mekanism Metallurgic Infuser with coal and iron to make steel dust
Or smelt Chain armor in a Tinkers' smeltery and pour it out. A lot of mods let you make chain armor so it shouldn't be too hard.
Just wondering, my friend hosts a server for me through Akliz/Endermedia, And after a while of playing on the server fine with a bud, we both crash and continue to crash on rejoin. He made a new map and we stopped crashing but it happened again. I am waiting for him to return to see if it can be fixed with a simple server restart but i don't know. Do you know why this is happening? We are playing on 0.8.3 as i don't thing Akliz had 0.8.4 yet.

Just wondering.. When my character dies my skin wont load unless I relog (it changes to the steve skin). Is this a problem I can fix somehow?

I noticed when I sleep my character doesn't lay in the bed. The character stands on top of the bed instead now. I wasn't sure where to post bugs.
It may be a vanilla issue, nothing we can do.
I love this mod pack and want to play it with some of my freinds but one of them really wants an extra mod in it (The Dalek Mod) but when I've tried to put it in manually it has had a dimension id conflict and I can't figure out what mod it is with. Does anyone know what dimension is id 6?

So you need to have both your client and your server updated to v0.8.4. Also, be sure that you don't have additional mods.
Where would I check if I had extra mods?
is the 0.8.4 update safe to use yet?

Thaumcraft 5 isn't available for Minecraft 1.7.10. Also, no plans to add OreSpawn.
Could you add ars magica to this pack?

If I update to the latest version, it says it will reset the pack. I've built some cool complex stuff, is there any way I can save it? Currently playing 0.8.2
It will not reset your saves. Also, you can always backup your saves yourself.
Got some issue with your pack en 0.8.2 with Akliz with Applied energistics (Exception in thread "AE2 VersionChecker") work yesterday and crash today ... so sad
