guys THE PACK IS WORKING RUN IT ITS WORKING YEAHHHHHH WOOHOOO
I just updated my server to 0.8.1 and that all worked out fine. However I cant download the client update. Says "Attempting to extract file the-1710-pack-0.8.1.zip, but it did not exist. 0.8.0 is gone from the launcher and I already deleted it in attempt to make a clean install of update. Now I cant connect to my server and I can't revert to 0.8.0. I have enjoyed playing this modpack plz fix

hello i have a big problem,since 0.8.1 in my server================occurred running the Server launcher.Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=512m; support was removed in 8.0 a problem with my server,when t is a modpack is asserted and made something good, thank you

I have a problem:
i just found the sacred rubber sapling and i planted it.
well, now i have a very huge tree over my house and the world is lagging hard.
My question is: how can i destroy this tree because i really want to play on this world :(

There are very rare huge rubber trees. You should've known.
Anyway, you can just remove the logs an leafs with machines or any other way you want.
I just realized that every other comment is asking you add certain mods, and I respect you for commenting back on the majority of them!

We won't add the specific mod currently.

You can add the mod manually by dropping the wanted .jar files into the mods folder in the client and server side.
thank you but I knew already, but that does not work, crash my game because I think that your config file is a problem, a solution ??
I'm sorry but I can give full support for additional mods.
I can't find where to make a mod suggestion, and the HELP isn't helping, so I'm just going to put it here. Sorry!
I think that a good mod to add would Extra Tic because it basically allows you to make Tinker's Construct tools out of resources from other mods. For example, Pink Slime Crystals, Thaumium ingots, Enderium, etc.
I'll quote from the "HELP" section: "Please do NOT post any bug/question/suggestion in the modpack's page on the platform, DO post them on a new issue in the link", and there's a link there. Simple as that.

Please add the mod Ars Magica it is a fun mod, and in my opinion it will enhance the game-play by adding more things to experiment with

Can you add the Archimedes Ships Mod ?

Pls No! The reason I picked the 1710 pack at the beginning was trying to run away from that silly mod!

Hey "Hi its me" I was wondering, is it possible for you to add the mod Flaxbeard's steam power mod? your modpack has every other mod I have been hoping for to be in one modpack except that one. If you are able to add that would be great but if not I can understand. Thanks!
I am not being able to open the mod in v8.0.I first updated to v8.1 then i notice that the server that i was playing was in v8.0 and i had to go back but when i change to the version 8.0 minecraft loads until the end and when it stop loading just close right in my face and go back to technic plataform.Can u help pls?
P.S: btw can you help me creating a private server to play with my frineds?

Hey creator, I love your mod and its the best modpack I have found. However Im having a small problem with it right now. I used to run it with shaders mod on version 0.7.6.c but just recently I had to update to 0.8.0 . Now shaders does not work and the game crashes. When I try to go back to 0.7.6.c, the launcher says that a file called MRJP.jar is missing and the game closes. I was wonder in anybody has got shaders working on the new recommended version and can help me out, or the creator can help me find a fix.

Never mind m8. If anybody is having this problem go to http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/229002-mrtjpcore/2236593 and put that in your mods folder. Love you creator keep up the work.
