alright my 7zip is working so ive uploaded it to dropbox what do I do now
Is this good for a spawn (is it as good as all you guys submissions(if you submit something(a spawn (a pretty spawn)))) also do I need to add more decorations cause I have tons of room for Amaxter to do some stuff so he has 4 big tall giant rooms to do whatever he wants with them

Honestly probably not even going to play the official one, id rather some other people open servers and have a list of default servers like last time.

Well...that's me btw. It's been about a year since I bothered this pack...back when it was just too heavy for my PC to handle, I just simply given up on the pack. Have ya managed to smooth out the edges a bit where it is easier to play when using 3GBs of RAM at the lowest? Cause I'ma give this pack another try with the 3.5GBs update...ALSO, can I still use Java 7 with this pack, I'd hate to upgrade to Java 8, since it fucks up my computer very badly.

i got 6 gigs and it still lags a lot and i have amdfx proser so lag

can the build a spawn comp be just built off jerrys tree?
It can be, though I would;t recommend it.
k I used the SS. Sparklez to get away from jerrys tree so idk what to make for the spawn

I'm connecting to my own server through "localhost" but it responds with Timed Out. I have the server running btw.

So quick question - is the game supposed to be retardedly difficult when you create a new world? I just did and was killed within 6 seconds from a swarm of mobs at spawn. Am I doing something wrong?

it can be kind of hard but once you gear up in the overworld, it's not that bad. Just wait till you start going to the other dimensions
Hard is one thing, being chased by 5-10 mobs at spawn with 120 health and poison / soul sucking is another.
Come on, dude sometimes I spawn with mobs with ovar 9000 health with like the most abnoxious stats and buffs to wreck me and being swarmed by like ovar 9000 mobs

It's Advent of Ascension and DivineRPG. Too be honest, they aren't even in Jordan's pack.
2 tips on how to survive in a fresh spawn (Or respawn) emergency: 1, Burying yourself...dig straight down 3 blocks and cover the top, everything should stay above you, then just tunnel your way away from them if you can. 2, Cheap-ass Spawn Barrier...If you have enough blocks, build a small room around you, with a small viewing hole, to see what monsters are around you, also build a hiding corner if a mob spots you from the viewing hole...this is not recommended with creepers all around you, and does not protect you from most small mobs like cave spiders...but it can be helpful.
Seriously its long overdue and I just came back from camping for 4 days and nope, no server. I don't mean to complain (kind of I do actually but I don't want to be mean) this is a bit frustrating for me now.
We're preparing to make the best possible experience for everyone in the long term, not rush out with an unwieldy server.
lol if you think this is bad, try waiting for an update from the technic team, I am sure amaxter would agree with me :D

can I have an idea at least around when the server will come out? or are you completely not sure when then you can be unspecific like "it will be a while" or "almost done"
when i try to start my world that i have been playing for a while it just says: "forge mod loader detected that the backup level.dat being used" and it reccomends making a backup of the world in case playing it make the "damage" worse, which i have tried doing but has not helped. please help if you have any idea what is going on.

it means that your world corupted at some point, to fix this you need to go into the modpack files, find the folder called backups, and select the save you were playing then open the folder of the latest date and time and you will find a .zip file of your world. Open the .zip file and copy and paste that into your saves file and overwrite the old version

Using the latest version of the mod will let you use stairs, slabs and fences. Try to find where the latest version of the mod is, download it, then replace the outdated version with the new version.
Well then, Time for me to build a spawn! This is going to be fun! :D
So in my current world, I tend to fight ever hostile mob I see at night, but I have collect a total of 9 nether stars and only 2 ender pearls. This doesn't seem normal...

im not complaining about balance. I just wish i had more ender pearls so I can make elevators instead of beacons. lol

I shall give you a very good tip, make porta spawners, capture MOTHRA spawners and put them in a room filled with grinders, then take the nether stars from them and power nether star generators, each star provides a 250k RF Then use an Ender IO spawner to make an enderman grinder :D
Or make some Orespawn Random Dungeon Spawners and hope you get one with ender mobs in
Quick question guys, has anyone figured out how to fix the player model size when morphing. Playing as a moth is dangerous enough without having to worry about smothering in a tree lol.

If you open you video settings, it should say "Hit "O" for more options" at the bottom right corner...from there, you can toggle the Morph mod settings. Some changes require a game restart...but it should work.
@AMAXTER Hey dude i just tried to install this Modpack and it say's i have the wrong Java version even though i just installed the Latest Java version 4 times, got any suggestions? :)

You have Java 8 and the latest version of it? Or do you have the latest version of java 7? Make sure to uninstall Java 7 completely and install java 8. They can conflict if you keep both of them.
hey sparklez put the gravestone mod in why didnt you put it but i recomment twograves its even better so get to work

Gravestones doesn't even work with Advent of Ascension, Sparklez even said it himself. Silly person :P
Graves dont work because of how AoA changes how death works so ALL grave mods would be broken unless the dev for it adds a fix or changes something
I enjoy the "so get to work" part in the statement from him lol. Like he can make you put it in or something xD
If you have a problem, please try addressing it in proper English...if it does'nt work then it does'nt work. Get over yourself and stop being rude to the creator who put together this awesome pack.

Well, the pack had an awesome trending run, but it looks like that is over :(. Don't cry though! Cause now it's #4 Most popular! YAAAAAY
Also, I think many players are eager to join and start playing on the official server and if anything, I think you should make the server white-listed and have some people ( beta testers ) test things out, check if anything is wrong. Have people sign-up and agree that it can potentially be unstable. I think it'd help you guys out as well.
Not sure if it's possible but adding IRC would be pretty cool.
So that when you're on Singleplayer, you can still chat with others who are playing the modpack and also ask for help and such.
Just a thought.
