when people say "the server" is it an officail server, and does it affect the abiity to create a private server?

You are allowed to create your own private/public servers, the "Server" is not up yet and is being worked on.
The reason there are so few like is because the like button has been broken or something. The like and follow button has not been working for me for the past week

very laggy when i go into new world how do i fix that?
It could be laggy cause of all the new chunks loading, maybe just give it some time.

Updated the mod pack and now it's no longer working... I have 6GB Ram dedicated out of 12GB, Java 8 64bit as recommend, every other mod pack works fine but not this one since the update, reinstalled and done a full reinstalled (Deleted all technic files and Vanilla to make sure and still not working? Any help?

I wouldn't use 6GB, as it may be the problem. YOu may have 12GB in total but your computer will take alot of that itself. Maybe try using 3-4GB. Try that and if it doesn't fix the problem then juts reply to me.
Tried using 3 and 4GB and made no difference :(
Hmm, in what way is it not working? Will it not start up, does it freeze at a certain percent?
how do i get jerrys tree in my world?
They only spawn in new worlds from the 1.0.2 update.
so they dont spawn in the newest update?
It will, you just need to create a new world Jerry's tree was implemented in the 1.0.2 update. So if your world is pre 1.0.2 update, it won't have the tree.
well now its super laggy how do i fix that?
I've tried putting in the server ip multiple times and I keep getting "can't resolve hostname."

when mine is loading it stops at 27% and stops,
Found an odd bug... I think. An Arlemite pickaxe (Advent of Ascention) is a wonderful toy, but when I made an Arlemite Shickaxe and gave it a massive enchant (eff 4, fort 3, unb 3) it is amazing on stone.... but slow as HELL trying to mine any of the (very common) Advent of Ascention ores. (or much of any other ores, for that matter)
This is one of the most powerful mining tools I've been able to craft so far, with a monster enchant.... and it sucks against anything but stone. Any ideas?
Shickxes are from divine rpg, not nevermine. And they are bugged with mining any ore other than vanilla or divine rpg ore.
Well that would do it. Sad waste of good ore. Oh well, live and learn. Thanks!
Why do I always spawn next to over 9000 mobs and instantly get killed?

Try turning it off of a difficulty the nget into the world, then set it back to normal or whatever.

Same here, not much else to do, except watch videos of captainsparklez and the yogscast... and still refresh periodically.

Other people have had this problem. As far as I know there isn't a sure fire fix for it yet. If you just wait a bit though the pack should load.

My friend is having that issue too anyway to fix it that you have found
increase the ram you have dedicated to the technic launcher. should help.
also keep in mind not to go over half of the total memory/ram your machine has.
ex: if you have 16 GB of ram don't go over 8 GB.
So the captain wishes to add two more mods, enderio & big reactors.

What's with the likes on this pack? People should be loving this pack, not the Pixelmon trash made to allow a one-mod install.

it really makes me mad, how people make amazing packs, to only be shadowed by pixelmon. Then there is amaxter who makes the best mod packs, with the most creativity in mind, that overcomes the pixelmon horde for a while. I think UMS will be the nuke that destroys all pixelmon players.
