Can you please explain what is happening?
Maybe if you can increase RAM to about 4-5 GB it might work, also you might need java 8 64 bit to allocate more than 1GB ram
Hi, how can I enable keepInventory instead of lootable bodies? I tried deleting the mod along with its config but keepInventory still isn't working even in a new world.

The command /gamemode keepInventory seems to be bugged and not working. So I do not know...sorry

So I did some research and it turns out Advent of Ascension changes the command to : /gamerule keepAllInventory true
Hope this helps anyone facing this issue :) It worked for me.

Yes, I would assume so. It is a publc pack and all that. Maybe leave a link to the modpack page in the description though! Always nice to give that credit!

I believe you have to edit the serverstart.bat or .sh file to specify the RAM...but x2 check with google

Hey! Can I join you guys!? I'm extremely eager to play this pack but it's too tedious/boring on Singleplayer :(
can I Join your server please, this pack has got me pumped but as said by others already it kinda gets boring in SP.
So, this isn't much of a problem as it fixes it self eventually but, is there anyway to fix the "Reloading Resource Packs" thing and it getting stuck at 85% loading. It took 20 minutes to launch it. 4gigs o' ram btw.
That seems like quite a long time. Are you by any chance using a large resource pack or something? Mine takes about 40 seconds to load from that point.
I'm not even using a resource pack at all.
Hmmm,try reinstalling the pack. It might fix the issue.
I've done that twice now.
For everyone who's Pack isn't working: Your going to need Java 8 64 Bit and at least about 4 GB of ram. also check your video settings if its too laggy. That should fix it but if it doesn't then talk to amaxter.

You don't need 4 gigs. I have 2 and mine is just fine.
LimeGreenGirl34, have you tried deleting the launcher and the folder and redownloading it?
It depends on the whole package right; CPU RAM, video, etc...There is a lot going on with this modpack. have at least Java 8 64-bit, 2GB RAM, and turn video all the way down for a starting point
I am lucky enough to have a good PC. some people aren't as lucky.
I was forced to update to Java 8 by the launcher but had tremendous issues with both the server files and the modpack. Switched back to Java V.7u80 and awesomeness ensued. (I was able to play with no issue)

this is probably a stupid question, but how do you get rid of the thing on the very top of the screen? it shows what type of block you are looking at and it just bothers me. I looked through the video settings but couldn't find anything. Any help please?

It should be in NEI settings, you can play around with them until you find it. I don't know how to turn this off, but I can still specify the spot you must go.
Hit Numpad 0, then click waila. Should have a setting in that.
That is part of the waila mod. I'm pretty sure it is client side so you can delete the it from your mods folder if you want...Idk how I would play modded mc without it though. I would reconsider removing it.
Wearing the flippers from Biomes O' Plenty and morphing into a squid makes for insanely fast water travel. If anyone knows cool, non game-breaking glitches leave a reply!
also add the modular powersuit leggings with swim assist full power to that and you go even faster :D now you just need a chestplate and a helmet for this set lol
If there were botania, then you would use the ring of Chordata.

This is so not fair. I spent over a week trying to download this modpack, and now everytime I click 'play' the launcher just disappears and appears again.

I have 4 GB of memory allocated, and am using JRE 7u80.
Get Java 8
When I uninstall Java 7 and install Java 8, it now just stops at 'Installing Minecraft Assets'. Still doesn't even launch the minecraft window.
Did you completely uninstall Java 7? Cause they could be conflicting

After installing the new version of java, try to reproduce the crash, then upload the new log/crash report
You need: 1: Java 8 64-Bit 2: 5GB of ram (That's just what I recommend.) 3: an OK computer that is able to run minecraft. If that doesn't work give the crash log to Amaxter.
