When I try to install one of the versions that is more recent than the recommended version, the launcher just reopens. However, a version that is older than the recommended works fine. Any way of solving this?

The cersion above the recommended version is probably a in testing. Try running the recommended cersion. The launcher reopens as your game crashed

They are working on ICBM right now for 1.7.10, its a BIG change for it so will take time. My guess is they are waiting for ICBM to be ready to go live

Can I suggest adding the Sync Mod to the Voltz modpack, It's not too large and can make wars much more viable as you can only have a certain amount of 'lives' / clones
