I have two mod suggestions. VeinMiner and BiblioWoods: Biomes O' Plenty Edition.
Archimedes ships fits perfectly in a modpack based around the aether! :D
Funny that you say that, cause I was actually debating on whether or not to add that mod lol. I guess I will now, thanks for the suggestion! It will be added in the next update.
Hello everyone, first of as always, thanks for the awesome support and patience! I couldn't ask for more. But sadly, I must. As many of you know, I am in the process of moving and that includes a lot of tasks and packing etc. Furthermore, closing is only two weeks away and I'm moving 800 miles. All of this to say, I have a lot to do and so I unfortunately must hang up the towel TEMPORARILY. Only for a couple weeks. I love Minecraft, Modding, and presenting things that people will have fun with, therefore I will most likely always be doing this, so please don't think I'm quitting. I will continue work on the mod packs that are yet to be released, but I will not be releasing them or any updates for a few weeks, until I have a network internet connection again. I wanted to release them before I had to take a break, but there's too much to do here with the moving situation. That and I wouldn't be able to offer support either for a few weeks if I did release now. But, I will be back. And when I am back I will be releasing modpacks and ever important updates. I may be able to slip in one more update, but idk yet, so don't hold me to that. I'll be back in a few weeks, if you need help or have suggestions, you can leave them here, but I probably won't see them for a few weeks. Or you can hit me up on Twitter: @Gryph0nnn
At any rate, thanks for the support and understanding, and I will be back in a few weeks. Until then, happy crafting!
I cant seem to download this modpack :'(
I will check the link, thanks for bringing this to my attention :)
It should be fixed now. If problems persist, please let me know. Also, quick question if problems persist, does the status bar at the bottom of the launcher display negative percentages just before displaying the error message? If so, please let me know, that info would be invaluable. Happy crafting! :)
Add this Mods.
-Open Blocks
-Advent of Ascension
-Warp Book
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll consider adding Open Blocks and Warp Book, but unfortunately AoA is incompatible with Aether II. However, if you wish, you can check out my other modpack Dimension Craft: Domination which mainly features AoA and a ton of other mods.
I like themed modpacks, but not to heavily themed though.
You need some space to do what you want to.
ANSWER: i would like another adventure modpack but a bit harder. (=
btw awsome modpack!
Thanks for the kind words and the feedback :) I couldn't agree more and good news, an adventure themed modpack is under development as we speak! Or... Type? Idk, anyways, thanks again :)
Best Modpack ever i love it thumb up :)
Oh my gosh, thanks so much! :)
POLL: Do you prefer themed modpacks (e.g. space travel theme, mideval theme, magic theme, etc.) or variety modpacks? (Crazy Craft, YogsPack, etc.)
QUESTION: If I were to revive my first modpack, Serene Simplicity, what would you like to see added to it? (apart from updates, they will be included naturally)
QUESTION: What kind of modpack would you like to see?
Finally, all work is done with the house, it is sold, and I am moving to WiFi- er... North Carolina... Is what I meant... Anyways, more details; Sorry I have been gone for so long. Again. Don't worry, I'm sick of the pattern too, I'll be around more often, I promise ;) In a months time, I will be re-established and ready to start updating frequently. Lot's of improvements coming up but that's a topic for another time, right now I have a question that I will start a series of new posts about both here and on mod update tabs here on the site. Thanks much! I look forward to your feedback :)
That's right, I'm back, alive and well. Sorry for my prolonged absence (especially those who asked for help, I am so, so sorry for not responding quickly :( ) As some of you already knew, I am moving soon, so I was busy with work, back to back showings and completion of renovations around the house. My hands are still full, especially trying to get a car back up and running before I leave, and the time pressure is on now as the house just sold! Woot! But I have a little more time now to come back here with you amazing people! Thanks for sticking with me after a month disappearance, I couldn't ask for more loyal supporters, you guys are awesome!
So what does this mean for you guys? Well, it means I can finally get WiFi and a stable, fast internet connection! I know, I'm not making sense, maybe, but my point is you get: faster support, faster fixes, faster and more frequent updates, more modpacks (coming soon!), and the possibility of servers for some if not all modpacks! Also, if I can figure it out, Solder compatibility, which will drastically reduce update times in your launcher! Can I get a booyah!? *crickets*... Aaaanyways, again, I'd like to thank you all again, and I'm happy to be back! Happy Crafting! :)
So I was playing in my world and I created a twilight portal I jump in and now I crash ever time I join so the twilight forest is conflicting with the other mods cause I can't join my world without crashing. :( If you know of a way to fix this please tell me if not can you tell me why. Other then this great mod pack in love with it!
Hello, thanks for the support of my pack, and sorry for the trouble and late reply. Thanks for the feedback and letting me know about this issue. I have been trying to fix it for the past few weeks but haven't found anything that works. The mod Twilight Forest conflicts with some on-world-gen created ID's and thus causes the crashes. I am currently updating the mod and a few others in hopes of it working. If it doesn't, I will have to remove Twilight Forest for the sake of stabilization. For now, you can remove Twilight Forest from %APPDATA%/.technic/modpacks/aether-ii-revived/mods and that clear up the crashes. However, if you want to keep your current world, I would suggest waiting for the update, because right now, your character is trying to be loaded in the world that is crashing the game. If you remove the mod, you will have to start a new world. I will be publishing an update asap. Hope all works out :)
Its a great modpack BUT.... When I go to Twilight Forest game crash and I cant play my world anymore... Can you please fix this or tell me how to do it? Also I would realy like to see some new technology modpacks like galactic craft!
Hello, thanks for the support, and sorry for the extremely late reply. Thank you for bringing this crash to my attention. I have been working on a fix for it to no avail for the last few weeks. At this point, the most I can do is update the mod and hope it works. If it doesnt, then I'll have to remove Twilight Forest :( What you can do for now is remove the mod in %APPDATA%/.technic/modpacks/aether-ii-revived/mods and that should prevent it from crashes for the time being. I will publish an update asap, I apologize for the inconvenience. Hope all works out for ya :)
I have been experiencing a game crash whenever I join a singleplayer or multiplayer world. I have updated my java and given the modpack 6GB of ram. The crash log can be found at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uIwYhh6ubw3jKF7ThvyNNXa7UnewEejjS3MdJ9S4X50/edit?usp=sharing if you need it. I would love to get back to the aether, but reply whenever. Thanks for helping and have a nice day. Message me if you need anything else.
Hello, the problem is that something in one of the mods is looping too many times. I cannot say for certain what is causing the issue though as I haven't seen anyone else with this problem. That being said, I think this might be computer specific or a corrupt download.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Before trying any kind of fix, I will be updating later today, but if you still want to try something, or if problems persist then I offer the following;
Sometimes downloads can experience "interference" while downloading so I would try re-downloading the pack. You can do this by clicking "reset modpack" in the "modpack settings" menu found on the upper right side of the launcher while Aether II: Genesis of the Void is selected. If that doesn't work, or if you've already tried that, then I would try removing one mod at a time (I would do it, but I can't replicate the issue) until it works. All mods can be found in "[Technic Install Location]/modpacks/aether-ii-revived/mods". Maybe the pain can be alleviated by starting with "Twilight Forest" mod as that one seems to cause diverse issues for several people (and will be removed in the next update). After finding the culprit, the other mods can be placed back in the mods folder all at once or one at a time if you prefer the safer route. If you do this and find the culprit, I would very much appreciate knowing which one it was. Also, if you're running mac, some mods don't play nice with macOS.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope what I'm about to say next won't be insulting, but how many GB's of RAM do you have? Because if the launcher is set to the same amount as the maximum amount of RAM your rig can offer, that will cause this kind of issue. Also, there needs to be about 2 GB's of ram between the launcher's setting and the maximum amount your rig has for OS and other background tasks to run at the same time without overloading the RAM. Example, if your rig has 6GB of RAM, then the launcher should not be set to anything higher than 4GB. Idk if this info is relevant but I have to assume all possibilities.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If none of this works, then I'm sad to say I have no other ideas. But as stated earlier, I am updating later today which will include bug fixes and stability improvements. Hopefully that will help if nothing else does. Sorry I can't offer more, but I hope the issues are resolved. Also, sorry for the late reply... At any rate, feel free to contact me as many times as needed, I'll try to be quicker with a response. And if all works out then happy crafting! Thanks for contacting me about this issue (and for providing a crash log) :)
I have removed the Twilight Forest Mod and I can play for over an hour now. Thank you!
The game doesn't crash NEI has a bug the keeps on saying some kind of termination and only effected by the inventory
It only happens when I see NEI
I've been trying to replicate the issue as well as a few of my testers. We can't seem to do so though... It might be an issue with the individual download. If you haven't already, try resetting the pack in the modpack settings and re-downloading the pack. If that doesn't work, check the Java version that's being ran by the launcher and make sure they're both set to use the most up to date version. If neither of those things help, than I don't have anymore ideas at the moment without a crashlog, which sounds like there isn't one unfortunately... I'll look into this further, please let me know if anything works. :)
After some digging around, I've found that either the pack isn't getting enough RAM in the launcher settings, Forge isn't playing nice with an outdated Java version, or the downloaded file is corrupt. That's about the extent of help I can offer without a log as the pack works perfectly on a majority of computers across multiple OS's which means it has to be either the downloaded file itself was corrupt, or it's a computer specific error. Tryupdating Java, setting the launcher to the most up to date version, and set the launcher to use at least 2GB of RAM (Only available with 64-bit versions of Java). If that doesn't solve the issue, please try resetting and re-downloading the pack.
also i cant update java i've already tried but it refused to work
for the time being i'm not using NEI and it works perfectly fine

there is a major bug that keeps kicking me out of any single player or multiplayer worlds
Pack works for majority so without the crash log I have no idea what's happening. Please post a link to your crashlog after copy/pasting it to pastebin.com. Otherwise my best guess is that if you are experiencing the crash after loading and playing for a bit, then it's because the pack doesn't have enough RAM. Please navigate to the "Help" tab for instructions on this problem. Hope all works well for you :)
I mean Battlegear
It will reject the mod for me
