 Our world will never be the same, my name is Kate Stuate and a few months ago our planet earth was invaded by an alien race known as the forsaken. UNIT along with the doctor scrambled to prevent this invasion. however as we celebrated our victory one of our lead scientist discovered they left behind a contagion. it wasn't bad at first but then... it got worse. hiveminds started to form. colony's normal families turning on each other. but then we started to fight the infection. but it started to learn. Adapt like every new  lifeform, like every new creature it evolved and adapted until all weapons were useless. so the doctor started to experiment trying to find a way to cure the people but... our greatest protector got infected. our greatest asset fell to the disease and for that reason became the dominant intellect in the hive. Eventually NATO fell and Nasa eventually worked with unit taking parts from the TARDIS to well uhm escape the infection. but they sent people to follow- the signal goes dead as the planet is blown up parasitic asteroids crashing into mars and hurtling across the known universe.

this modpack has a lot of lore and cool exploration themes. you can reverse engineer stuff and get blueprints or find them.
