You have to right click on the front side (not on top where you click to scan)
i tried to make a personal server for me and friends but the launcher and the server crashed when i joined it. How would i fix this?

Why is there so much lag? The mod pack takes forever to start up, and then it lags even on the main menu. Seriously, when I can even get into a world theres just too much lag to even move. I have 3.5 gigs of ram allocated, as that is the max that my laptop will allow. Does it need even more?
Chances are, your lagging because of your laptop processing speed. If you want my advice, ditch the laptop and get a gaming desktop
Some laptops can't handle games on it unless you have gaming laptop. Modded minecraft lags even more on laptop than stationary computers
why is there no servers anymore with the blightfall map it defeats the whole point of the game to clear the taint in the map and complete all the quest in the book like really

The actual blighfall map is to small to hold a server on, most server owners load up a new world then try to add taint themselves, but the whole process takes time, and some people just like the mods that have been brought together in the pack itself.

Its actually super easy to setup a server with the blightfall map, as long as you arent having a ton of people playing at once. The problem with using a non-blightfall map is that it breaks a lot of the quest progression and without the quests its very hard to get certain things from the supplier. Though, without the map you also have greater access to ores since the distribution is different. If i was you and wanted to play blightfall multiplayer id throw up a server for yourself and friends.

people who have added those mods to the pack usually crash the pack, those that get it to work don't show significant improvement.
I put both in manually and both work fine with a performance boost. (Fastcraft improved server performance significantly)

Why is it that everytime i progress to the point that i have a dawn totem my game crashes and corrupts the save file?

Servers are hard to find due to the small size of the blightfall map and the fact that once its cleansed there isnt much more to do. I recomend starting one up for yourself and friends.
Try to be a bit less of a dictator and let people use commands in their single-player worlds since not everyone is a fucking God and some might need keep inventory!

This is a challenge pack, it isnt meant for you to easily make it easy. If you cant handle a challenge pack without taking out the challenge, a challenge pack isnt for you.
Hi, I wish to move/copy a single player game I've made progress in from one PC using one minecraft account to another PC and use a different minecraft account, I copied files, I renamed any usernameA files to usernameB (fixed thauminomicon progress) However a few things I noticed so far not in sync: waypoints, teleport unlocks, and progress in quest book (that's the main one). Does anyone know how to do this?

Missing waypoints would be an issue with the files of the minimap mod, so I would look into those to make sure the world names match, necause ive started new worlds with the name of an older world and gotten old waypoints to come back from deleted worlds, so it's tied to the world name or folder name. Teleports are handled by custom Npcs so I would look into that mod's files for that issue, and the questbook I honestly have no idea. That's my two cents on this, hope it helps you.
I have an idea for the (very, very) far future of Blightfall. It's another map with the same story, but centered around Thaumcraft V. If you have feelings (good or bad) about this happening, just reply. (I know, some stuff wouldn't work, and it would have almost none of the same mods, but I did say the (very, very) far future)

First, make sure you have at least 2 gigs allotted to your technic launcher. There should be a little gear icon towards the top right corner where you can check. It's in the Java Settings tab.
Next, wait it out. Start it up, and just let it sit there at the black screen for a while. If it's still doing nothing after about five minutes, go make a snack or something. Just have patience. It shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes. After the first few times I doubt the problem will persist, but if it does. look for a new solution.
also make sure you are using java 64.
How does Thaumcraft work? the explanations how to do stuff is bullsh*t

Ive done almost all of it and didnt have a single issue with the in-game explanations.
