I have found a bug. If you type "Ender" into NEI you will kicked with an error from EnderStorage and CodeChicken core. If you then rejoin and reopen your inventory you will again kicked. You must first delete the NEI config. Please fix it

Seems to be something that only some people experience. Tested this on my server and it is working fine.
I have a question, I can't bonemeal seeds it just make the animation but nothing happens and it doesn't take the bonemeal either. What should I do?
Edit 1; I tried to install the version 2.1.1a of the mod and it's working correctly. The bug occured in 2.1.2 version of the mod.
I cannot replicate this issue on my server.
I'm playing singleplayer.
I've had a couple wierd right clicking not working glitches, all solved with a log completely out back to the technic launcher and back in.
How Do I Change How Much Ram I Am Using. Im Currently Using 1GB How Do I Change That To 2GB??

Two bugs that have been notice while me and friends were playing using Hamachi and 'Open to Lan'.
While hosting the host seems to appear as Steve instead of their own skin. Seems related to hamachi/open to lan as happens to otheres when hosting.
Using the teleporters sometimes causes a player to 'land' funny and not be able to move/jutter in place. Often solved by jumping a particular way or breaking the block beneath them. Seems to happen more to connected players, it has happened to me on rare occassions in single player.
I imagine theres not much that can be done, but better to report them then not.

These are known bugs with Minecraft, not with the modpack. Especially the host of a LAN game appearing in the default skin. It was fixed in a later version, but there's nothing we can do about it for this version, unfortunately. The getting stuck is another common problem that we can't fix.
What i do for the getting stuck bug is, select your destination from the porter, hold jump, click teleport. Bam, works every time.
Alternately dig out the 3x3 at the level of the porter if its flush with ground, and also the level below it, if feasible. Then you will sometimes take a half heart of damage from falling but not die or get stuck. HTH
? how do i light my nether portal i have tried my wand and flint and steel and it aint lighting please help

There is no Nether in this pack. (This is explained in your quest manual somewhere - be sure to read the quests carefully!)
With there being no nether, shouldnt they comment/config out the nether thaumcraft stuff, like lord of hellfire? I forgot what it did, so researched it, and man, time and aspects wasted....
Is it possible to customize the mod pack at all? I tried to add dynamic lights and a shaders mod (particularly for recording a let's play), but when I launch the game, it seems to ignore anything I add myself.
I've managed to swap journeymap for Voxelmap, added fastleafdecay, and configged out spice of life so its definitely possible. Ill try and noodle with shaders tonight to see if i can get it to take them. The only Technic pack ive played with was a very brief stint with mindcrafters icehenge to look at a world download, so there might be something hinky needing to be done to get it to work, possibly making a bat and renaming it to look like the mc executable
I managed to get it working by restarting the launcher. I highly recommend playing with dynamic lights and Sildur's vibrant shaders. The world at night is just so beautiful with that shader pack, with the glowing pink lights in the taint...

I am so tempted to get the shaders, but I want an opinion: is this mod safe? Too much I've gotten a virus off of minecraft forums. I just like having a second, or third, opinion on the matter. I'm a bit paranoid about my computer.
Has anyone found Rubies yet? I have been mining under the Volcanic Islands for days and found none so far. The book doesn't even mention them so i have no idea what level they are at

Still broken. Same as all the other updates. NONE of them work. Ive got to play this pack before and it was by far the best one ever. BUUUUUT then the game decided to break and the owners still aint fixed it. I would be soooooo happy if it got fixed.
If what got fixed? We cannot help you if you don't provide us with more info about what is not working. Either post a crash-report or the output of the Technic Launcher. Also explain exactly what is not working. Most of the times a simple reinstall of the pack helps ;) Make sure to use the latest Java version (1.8.0_60)
Does anyone know where to find the sky stone for the quest?

On your map they look like black hills and there are some: Bottom left of desert, left of eerie island, very left of savannah. Probably more out there but those are the ones I saw.
Hey i could use some help... every time i try to play blightfall it doesn't load up. the launcher disappears but never boots up. After that the launcher reappears. if anyone could help that would be great!

If you're still having the problem, try restarting your computer completely then loading it up again.
how do I get my 1 GB of RAM to 2 GB of RAM because every time I try to play it tells me to get 2 GB of RAM

Make sure you have the latest 64bit java
Also, you can adjust the amount of RAM the pack has in the launcher, in the launcher options (top right of the launcher), java settings tab.
Instantly crashing when I open the quest book on my server, worked fine post update. I updated my server and then this whole bug occurred, making the game nearly impossible to progress in, any support on this?

That implies there your world and server quest files do not match. I'd try updating your server again. Specifically, open up a fresh 2.1.2 server, delete the world folder from it, and copy your old server's world folder in instead.
For some reason whenever i try to light a nether portal it wont work, is it just not allowed with the mod pack or is there something wrong with my game?

One of the mods disables the Nether, I believe
no nether, you can find nether ores in the world along with netherwrack. You can get ghast tears from the jaded supply officer. You can make wither skulls using thaumcraft. Not sure about blazes though have to look into that.
oh and likewise i believe the end is disabled (i think all alt dimensions are) but you can find endstone and such in the world. I havent found a supply of ender pearls outside the jaded supply officer, but i assume you could eventually build an ender farm after clearing some taint or using one of the other biodomes with some blackout curtains.
Update. Single player works fine. I start out in an actual room and can select missions etc. Why isn't the server this way? Shouldn't the server be the same world etc?

There's a custom map for the pack...perhaps the server map should be located in a different directory? I honestly am not sure. :)
This has been resolved. I re-downloaded the server files, relaunched the server and now it's working.
how does one make a server? Can you walk me around it? also if you want a teammate i would be happy to help.
I downloaded and installed server. Whenever anyone spawns they immediately fall to their death because the game spawns the player high in the air. The client falls and dies twice then is banned!!! I've tried regenerating the world three times. The player spawns over and over in a high place and falls to their death. Am I missing something in the server setup? Is there a special level seed needed to spawn on the ground? Please advise.

I've spoken to the owners of https://unitedworldminers.com/modded/blightfall/ and they seem pretty dedicated to providing an authentic Blightfall experience. Might try there.

I love this pack! So much in fact, that I have a suggestion: Make the vanilla tool achievements (time to mine, farm, and fight and getting an upgrade) obtainable through TiC.
You can get them by making Copper and Bronze pickaxes the old fashioned way, which can be used for an "Instructor" quest, then promptly melted down in a smeltery.
I tried downloading Blightfall and whenever I do I get stuck at 8 percent and that's it. I get an error that says "Failed to download http://mirror.technicpack.net/technic/mods/extra-tic/extra-tic-v1.4.5.zip Please consult modpack author" I've tried a few times but I can't get past that. Please help, I really want to play this mod pack.
Idk why but no one tries to help people who cant play on this pack -.- they only help those who can get in. I been stuck out since this game came out and i let em know it was broke for me. Buuutt they give zero shits
I'm sure it is not that people don't care, but that they don't know how to help. Have you tried contacting the pack author (Talonos) directly? He is very dedicated to supporting his pack and I'm sure he'll try to help you out.
Ninja, I know when i was trying to get icehenge working i had the devil of a time trying to get single player up and running, so i went and found the server files as a zip, downloaded them and just dumped them into the mess that the technic launcher left on my pc and bam, had it working. Is the modpack at least creating a \technic\modpacks\blightfall directory or ?
I can also tell you the technic launcher is spotty at best. Went to download it when it launched, failed. slept on it, tried in morning, installed. tried that night to update, failed, morning, failed, night installed. so try different times of day too.
If we could get talonos to also offer blightfall on curse.....
Hey, so I tried to download this modpack, and it keeps getting stuck at 37% at the saves folder? I left it running over night and it was still at 37% PLEASE HELP ASAP!

I am getting this too. Download seems to hang at 37% complete, while downloading the blightfall-savesv2.1.0.zip file. Going to try cancelling and restarting.
anyone know an efficient way of clearing oceans of taint?

If it's in a ocean itself, possibly dirt blocks in the ocean with ethereal blooms on them? Other than that, just ethereal blooms, they clear I believe an 8 block radius around them of taint.
