Does anyone understand the cooking for blockheads mod. i need to make a cooking table and it says to use a "cooking for blockheads 2 (book)" but when i look at how to craft the book it says to use the book i need to craft with a crafting table.... it makes no since, how do i craft the book mentioned above.

That is fixed.
This modpack is such a dissapointment. You wait, you try to play, and it tells you "you cannot play this with 32 bit OS" . You need to warn players, something like "DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS IF YOU HAVE 32 BIT OS". Hope you understand, how i feel...
Why is my game so laggy even though my memory is set on 5 GB?

Hey i'm doing the thaumcraft questline but I cant make many of the aspects - for example: you should get saxum from scanning any stone but it gives me terra. and I cant make saxum in the research table with 2 terra. There is something wrong with thaumcraft.
there is nothing wrong as of thaumcraft 4.1 saxum and some other aspects don't exist and you don't need them this modpack uses thaumcraft 4.2 dont worry you can't get it its been removed :D
can you give a list of the ones you cant make??
Ahh. I first couldn't make humanus. but it seems I sometimes cannot make it on the research table but i found for example cognitio from scanning a zombie brain. And then i scanned a nearby villager for humanus. But I couldn't make saxum because it was indeed removed according to this image >> http://i.imgur.com/eNExLUN.png
Also, when will the archimedes ship helm be unlocked. I heard from a previous comment that it will be unlocked in the thaumcraft questline.
It should be unlocked after you research infusion.
Well... alright i know Archimedes is a bit overpowered. But this is too expensive XD. 4 mythril cogs and so many aspects??? where does this recipe come from?.

You can use pretty much any ore in a tool forge.
Remember that it requires 4 blocks (36 ingots) of the ore.
Could you add the optifine mod to this modpack because i am lagging crazy with my computer

Optifine is a client side mod and you can add it yourself to any pack

Optifine's terms of use do not allow us to put it in public modpacks. :( You are free to add it yourself, but we are legally forbidden from doing so.

just be patient and wait, it gets stuck in lots of % for me but you just have to wait. :)
This happened to me, the moment i read this comment i checked to see if it was the same point and it started moving again.
helo, when I tried to download Blightfall, it says me : [B#204] Download of https://libraries.minecraft.net/org/scala-lang/scala-actors/2.11.6/scala-actors-2.11.6.jar Failed!

Few things i just cant figure out? how am i suppose to make power? is big reactors the only option? you need alien level to mine yellowrite. second how do you make fuilx dust? there's no grindstone which means i have to use pluveriser which means i need power...
Request filled power cells from the supplier. You can get reputation by farming and delivering bread. Higher tiered power cell is more efficient per bread/rep point.
When I try to install the pack it gets stuck at "Downloading Mod: blightfall-saves-v2.1.0.zip".

When I try to install it,it always says: "Downloading Mod: blightfall-saves-v2.1.0.zip"
And then it says that blightfall is corrupted,what do I do?

I recently switched from playing on my laptop to playing on my desktop and as soon as I logged in a noticed that I couldn't view my quest book. I tried using a different one, checking the key bindings, giving myself a brand new one via creative mode and nothing seems to work. It should be noted that I am playing on an Apex server, however, I hadn't updated yet and it still wasn't working. I tried installing the newest version and it still doesn't work. Please help!

Yeah, that sounds like your client and server are running different versions of Blightfall.
Hey Blightfall team -- Please revert your changes or edit changes to the cooking table recipe... "-Cooking for Blockheads vol 2 made easier to craft. (Two diamonds? Seriously? That was a dumb default recipe.)" in the changelog... The problem is now you have Book 2 + Crafting Table = Cooking Table, but there's no way to maek Book 2 without Book 2 (used to be that you'd upgrade Book 1)... Thanks!

My gf and I discovered the party feature after putting in about 20 hours, now all of our quests are gone and we cant progress. Is there any way to fix this?

Allow cheats, type in /hqm edit , add the quests you did, then /hqm edit to stop editing (not 100% on the stop editing, but write /hqm and hit tab to autofinish the various commands, use the one appropiate.)
his mod pack is amazeing just my pc is a piece of crap so please add optifine lol

Optifine is clientside so just download and add it yourself!

Can't. Optifine's Terms of service prohibit us from putting it in our pack. You'll have to install it yourself. :(
how do i turn on cheat mode it says sep on the pressure plate but their is none!

I have a suggestion for a mod to add next update. The mod is called Thaumic Horizons. I won't explain the entire mod here, but it's basically an addon for Thaumcraft that adds stuff like Curative Vats and Seroconverters.

Hi! I'm a new user to the Blightfall pack and tried using the discussion to answer my question, but there didn't seem to be a topic about this. I'm running on a 64 Bit Java 8 with 5 GBs of ram allowed, but as I open the game and start up the single player world it never loads up completely. I think it may be the fact the I do not have the latest map ( I was given the 2.0.2 ). If so please give me a link to download the latest version. Try 2-3GB; most of the time that people go above the 2-4 recommendation, it crashes because their computer can't actually allocate higher, even though it says it can. (The option is only shown because Java can use that much if your computer can allocate it.)
Friend and I can't view our quest books on hosted server. Works in single player. Please help

the reason is your quest books were not on the same quests when you joined party they don't like to merge very well unless you do it at the start when you make the world
Either that or your server and client are running different versions of Blightfall.
What is the preferred way to upgrade a server while keeping your world intact?
