"The server" means what server exactly? What's the IP / URL?
I need some help. Every time i try to start up the modpack and play it, it acts like it is going to start up, but then after a minute or so after no window pops up, the technic launcher shows back up. It doesnt give me a crash log or anything, its just that nothing happens. iv tried deleting and reinstalling, even going so far as to try older versions but nothing seems to work. Is there some sort of command i can put into the Java Args?

i have been running out of hunger because the food won't work after eating it
its one of the features added into the pack to make it challenging
What you do is use pams harvest craft to make a bunch of random food out of your other food so its still effective
I recommend toast as you only need to smelt bread again to make it toast
Hello, can someone pls tell me how to get the book called "Lexica Botania" ? Crafting it with a book and a sappling doesnt work for me and i have no clue if its because of some quest or if it is a bug.

No idea if this has been fixed. When I try to install the pack it freezes at 31% while installing the saves. I've done everything, restarted the download, deleted and re-installed the pack. I even uninstalled Mcaffe in case that was interfering. Help?

around 30% there's a huge thing it needs to download so you just need to leave it for a while it also depends how good your internet is i left it for 30 mins and it worked
I can see that. But I can't tell if it stops downloading (Since technic has no monitor thing)
Hey, could someone help me? Blight fall always gets stuck on "blight fall-saves-v2.1.0.zip", while downloading. This is very irritating, as i would love to play this pack. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem. It's been at 31% for hours.
When I smelted the grout in the furnace and got the smeared bricks it didnt give me the black book.. So how am I supposed to get the book then?

the old fashion way, 1 blank pattern, and 1 paper, you then can craft that book to the next addition until its a black book
some of that information is in the books that you can request from the section that has the tinker's quest line. It is located on the middle of the bottom on that page. Those books contain more information about armor, tools, ranged weapons, ore locations.. (tinker and non tinker things)

Download server files --> Unzip them and double click the "start.bat" file when on Windows or use "./start.sh" when running Linux --> Set up Hamachi Network -->Invite your friends --> Give your friends you Hamachi IP --> Have fun!
I love this modpack and the only problem I have come across so far is where I cannot eat, I'm fairly sure there is a timer before you can eat again but It wont let me eat after the 30 secs I see in the bottom right corner, Is there something I need to do before being able to eat again, maybe drink something? If so, what?
It is probably the spice of life that you are experiencing. As you eat the same food, the hunger return that you get from the item, diminishes and the time it takes eat the same item increases. I believe that the hunger value of the item will reset after 256 food items have been eaten since you ate that item. With hunger overhaul you can get an affect that looks like a heart and is called well fed. This provides you with better than normal regen. The best suggestion is to include a variety in your diet. So requesting seeds (and gathering farm animals) is very important to increase your diet and to survive.
Its just that your food has become ineffective so you need to eat something else, if your out of alternates then use pams harvest craft to make different foods
ya the problem is spice of life i would recommend doing one of two things ether A. disable the mod in the config file. or you can lower the (in my opinion) insane 400 food memory in the same config file. if you want to disable the mod changing the main section to false is all you need but as for the food memory its a bit lower in the server options
Need a little help I don't know how to mine gold and such, well anything that says that needs a hard mental pickaxe. I just started using mods so I don't know much about it and looked everywhere. So any help would be nice

in the instructor tab of the quest book there is a book you can order called "where to mine" seriously read the text in the quest book it useful info most of the time.
I been reading the books but I just don't know how to make the pickaxe to mine the tools. I have the smeltery up but I can't make the casting because i need gold or brass to make them. The pickaxes I can make are soft mental and can't mine them.
So I just started up the modpack, and It looks interesting...except for the fact 90% of the blocks are invisible! xD Does anyone know why it does this and if so how to fix it? Any feedback would be great. C:

Do you use the shaders mod? Elsewise tell us a little more what graphics card / grpahics driver you have. Also make sure you use the latest Java 8 64 bit. Maybe also try deleting the Blightfall pack and reinstalling it.
i don't know how to get it... i updated no modpack i can't copy the link because there is none. so how?

Let's assume you don't know how to get this modpack --> Because this is a official Technic Pack Modpack it will come "pre-added" in the Launcher. To play the pack, simply open up your Technic Launcher and go to your "Modpack" Tab. There you will find the Blightfall pack. Simply click on install or play in the lower right to get started with this pack,
Every time I go in to play it says i need 2 gigs of ram and to click there, but it won't let me click so I cant play.

You need more ram in your technic launcher: 1. Install a better Java like the 64-bit. 2. Go into Technic Launcher and on the far right corner " Launcher Options " 3. Click the tab " Java Settings " 4. Click " Memory " and I would recommend your highest GB.
Play Blightfall and it should work ^-^! -Bribear
Please help when i log into the world i can walk around but when i press 'e' to open my inventory my inventory doesn't pop up, it does the same when i press esc (PS its there i can click stuff but its invisible) thx
i reinstalled it but it still doesnt work

ps it does this sometimes with other modpacks
Please try reinstalling the pack (so delete the pack completely from your Technic Launcher, then add it again)
This could also be related to your key config, so check that out but after reinstalling everything should be fine.
Another issue could be your graphics driver. What graphics card do you user / which driver version? Also which version of Java are you using? Make sure to use Java 8 64bit in the latest version.
i have java 7 and i dont know what my graphics card is =/
You should upgrade to Java 8 64 bit (and then uninstall Java 7 from your PC) you can find Java 8 here https://www.java.com/de/download/manual.jsp (make sure to get the 'Windows Offline (64-Bit)' version) --- to find your graphics card look into this nice tutorial http://www.wikihow.com/Find-Out-What-Graphics-Card-You-Have (I am assuming you use Windows / not Linux nor Mac)

And we got the problem fixed with the Biome scanner, thanks @ somebody for clicking on it! Servers are running like a charm again.

I JUST BARELY GOT MY THAUMINMICON BUT I ACCIDENTLY GAVE IT TO THE PERSON WITHOUT READING AND I ONLY HAVE A FARM OF 2 SUGAR CANE THAT GROW ONCE EVERY HOUR
