its says there is a missing file when i try to install it. Why?
No TreeCapitator?
I'll give it a try, but anything without that mod is normally not worth it.
If a package author does not use TreeCapitator he is never playing hardcore, I bet he just switches a lot to "Creative" to get all the stuff he needs. :-(

Just create a Tinker's Construct lumberaxe, it will chop the entire tree with one swing (and it's faster). You need a tool forge to get it though. You can find a tool forge in a treehouse on the coast nearest to biodome omega. Good luck!
how do i change primitive bread to normal bread?

Mortar and pestle. Do keep in mind there are two different types of them, and you need the white one to do what your trying to do.You can look up the recipe for it in the crafting table menu.
Primitive bread is basically the same as Vanilla bread. The only difference is an NBT tag, this will encourage players to make bread by grinding wheat/barley into flour, then cooking it rather than using the vanilla method. Good luck!

It says you need 2 gigabites of ram but when I check my computer I actualy have 12 Gigabites. If someone knows how to fix this can you plese reply.

You should use 4 gb of ram, go to launcher option>java settings>open the ram tab and put it to 4 no more no less. 4 is the perfect amount.

Download the server files, extracting them if needed. To run the server there should be a file called "run.bat" or something like that, just double click it to start the server (you will need to do this every time you want to play). There are other steps, but you should be able to find it easily online. Good luck!

Hi, I have a pretty bad problem.
When I create a new world I get the error messeage:
FML detected missing blocks/items
There are 51 missing items and blocks in this save.
If you continue the missing blocks/items will get removed.
According to the list below the error, all of them are Metallurgy mods.
And when I play the game like that, some of the ores, tools are just purple and black.
There are items called ''Unknown'' as well... dou not sure if they are about that error.
Any help would be appreciated.

This modpack is known to corrupt VERY easily, you should make a ton of backups. download a mod called "Aroma Backups" and add it into the mod folder. Once loaded up, this mod will make a world backup every half an hour.
I love the modpack but i would like to play it on a normal world gen. On skyfactory and other maps like it there is a folder in the config i can change but i have no idea where that folder is in Blightfall.
This should work:
1: Create a new Blightfall world
2: Download map you would like (e.g. Skyblock)
3: Copy all the world files, making sure that you "replace all"

I am super super confused right now. I am on the "Harvesting Gold" task, where I must make a brass pickaxe. I understand that I have to have tin and copper, put them in a smeltery, and then mix them to make brass. That pickaxe will allow you to mine gold. Here's where I am confused: how do I get the brass out of the smeltery? I don't have gold, so I can't make any gold casts. I can't mine aluminum, either. How do I get the brass out to make a pickaxe? Please help.

I think you need to make it like a vanilla tool in a crafting table, give that a try.
You need a Casting Bin(I can't remember if that's the name, the one for making blocks, so you need 9 ingots in the smeltery)
You can also make brass casts
There are actually materials you can find and use without needing a cast that can mine gold or any other hard metal. If you can find some thaumium ingots, they can actually be crafted like any other material in the whole table setup (you dont need to cast thaumium). Also, if you can get gunpowder to make explosives, you can mine just about any ore regardless of the requisite mining level. As for how to get the metals out of the smeltery, you need a smeltery drain with the small hole facing outwards so when you attach the faucet to it the metals can pour out. The you need either a casting table if you have the molds, or a bin to make blocks of the metal. You need at least 9 ingots worth of the metal to make a block of course, but the metal will sit in the bin until you can get more. This is also good storage technique of you don't want to turn your gold into countless alloys you do not need. Trust me, it's worth having lots of bins so that doesn't happen. Nothing sucks worse than finding gold you can mine so you can make casts, only for it to turn into electrum or angmallen. You need a cast for alloys to even be useful, so best not to turn that gold into an alloy by accident XD
Botanica isn't letting the mod pack to install correctly.
Me and my mate are trying to play together, neither of us has any clue how to host servers, how do you accomplish this?

I pay a hosting company for my server, and thats pretty reliable, but whenever my buddy and I try to spawn into Blightfall, we just spawn falling. Not on the ship, not even on ground. We fall, we die, and hardcore mode is apparently always on and idk how to disable that

I love this mod-pack, perfect mix of mods, interesting layout and all around just fun. But one day I was using the Archimedes ships to get to one of the floating islands and my game suddenly crashed. I lost my save and wasted hours and hours trying to re-obtain my world but to no avail. Because of this I just can't recommend this piece of S H I T. It is 0% my fault my computer ran the thing 200 fps constantly never dipping into anything less than 150, so idk what to say but don't get too attached. Mod-pack: 8.5/10 but my actual score: 1/10 gave me a week of fun but dashed my hopes before I could see what was even going on
Next time install a mod called Aroma Backup. Minecraft modpacks (ESPECIALLY BLIGHTFALL) have corruption issues. You need to manage your saves next time bro. Also, to avoid corruption next time, ensure that you ALWAYS save and quit, rather than just closing the game down.
Where do i get clay? I have been looking and can't find any.

Too damn bad I cannot get Creative and play Creative in this mod pack...

Pause the game, click open to lan, then click allow cheats. This allows you to cheat, then you can do /gamemode 1 to go into creative mode.
Great mod. One thing would make it better and more involved: Having a chat limiter mod. Something like Chat Distance (on Bukkit) which would make it so only those nearby could see your chat. Adds to the whole "Everyone is spread out" thing.
