Hey pls help, I got it and the download went well but when i click play the mojang thingy pops up starts loading and then disappears and dosent open , what should I do ?

i tried downloading it and worked but I tried playing it and I need 2 gb I downloaded the newest version of java 64 bi but it still only has one gb and didn't change that I had a 64 bit only a 32 bit HELP PLEASE THIS LOOKS LIKE A FUN GAME

Don't install it your a noob
zombiechild don't be mean to new people we were all new once and dj angie try deleting the pack and reinstalling if that does not work reinstall the technic launcher
make sure to backup your saves before deleting the whole launcher :P
i have update java 8 64 bit, but when i click play, It just turns out the screen of technic

Witchery has a ton of PvP content in it. We considered adding it, but we didn't want players to thing this was a PvP modpack, so we left it out to encourage people to work together to clean the Blight.

I hate to be the lazy one but does anyone know an easy way to get rid of the taint? The blooms are limited and they're SLOOOW. I'd rather not spend the next year maneuvering 20 blooms around.

you have 2 options.
1) Make Totems of Dawn, they have a range of 20 while ethereal blooms only have 8.
2) open lan, turn on cheats, spawn in hundreds of totems of dawn, and just spread them through the world. It's cheating, but hey, it's an option
there are also ways to make ethereal blooms, follow the paranormalist and/or dark one quest lines to learn how
Enchanting a purity focus with Enlarge and then using it to clean is another great way.
Talonos you need to work on some of the bugs and please add in away to make the ships helm

There is a way to make the ship's helm, through an infusion recipe. And I'm working on a patch today. :)

everytime i open the modpack my world doesnt show up... i can find the files at .technic and create new ones, but i cant load previous ones... any help?

also all the trees are dying and everything is turning purple is there a way I can fix it. And yes I know its that is how it is but I'm thinking endgame can It be fixed so far all iv found are blooms that do I sphere of a 5by6by4 '

Yep. Look into dawn totems or purity foci.

Hey Talonos, I've got some issues that are really harshing my Blight- busting mellow... So, when I go to play the game on SINGLEPLAYER it cashes 10 times out of 10 trys....Seriously, this is the best modpack though! More information on the crash is available, and if you can help me out please ask for it!

On my server the map doesn't work. I checked and it is set to TERRAIN_CONTROL.

Me and My friend are having an issue logging on using the server download. It shows up but when we log on it just kicks us off and crashes the server? When we run the initial Start BATCH file, it gives us both a Blightfall Server and a normal vanilla server executable file. We used the blightfall one and it crashes and shuts down after initializing? any solutions?
make sure you uninstall all old java versions and install the latest for yourself, and the proper 64 bit or 32 bit versions, if you need a link to the specific versions its here: https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
also edit the xmx and xms to your ram specifications, although if u dont have 2-3gigs to spare i dont see you running a server and playing on the same pc
I already had 3 GBs set and we both have the latest version of Java. it crashes not only the server but also to game and just reloads the Technic Launcher? the crash report says "Exception while updating neighbours
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unknown metadata for tile entity" and then a whole bunch of other stuff detailing that. We are using Himachi, don't know if that might be causing issues?
did u try unplugging it and plugging it in again?
Having an issue with the biome scanner on a server. One player can click and scan and pull out badges but no other players can. If another player (no matter where the account is logging in from ie another computer) tries to access and pull a badge out it crashes with an Internal Server Error. http://pastebin.com/3ZcDaM7m from the server console

Im getting the same problem with a similar issue of trying to get the research page for "The Dawn Machine" it just kicks you out with a internal server error and you dont get the page
Figured out it is something to do with player data. Is there anywhere else other than the player data in the world folder that a players data could be stored?
i used forge essentials and blocked players from using it at spawn at least
What you need to do is change the botania flower recipes because its impossible to get in multiplayer as people steal all the flowers so you cant even generate any mana to get the mana pearls required in the thaumcraft recipe.

Are people not offering to share flowers with you? That's a jerk move of them. Are jerks on servers this common? Talk to your server owner. If he changes line 82 in Botania.zs in his "Scripts" directory, it should affect all players on the server. (Might also want to change it in the world/scripts directory, if it's also there.)
The problem is people take the flowers found around the world and then they just give up after 3 or so days in the claimed area making it really difficult to do anything because we don't get rewarded like one daybloom
botania has always been a quest for exploring for more flowers, this isnt an issue with the modpack its an issue with your inability to venture out and find green lands for flowers, also having tainted lands everywhere makes it a challenge to get a few botania flowers making what little setups you can make a high value, on another note, mana systems can cause a great deal of lag so not supplying people with a ton of flowers slows the ability to make these vast systems overnight, they would have to work for a longer period of time
i am on the whitelisted server for this modpack and i have alot of them if you ever come on there id give you some :)
Can you pls take the taint away? i would play it if the taint wasnt there

the taint is the never ending battle
the whole point of the modpack is because of the taint, lol.
I mean, if you really want it gone. Just go into creative, spam totems of dawn and boom. no more taint
If you really want to do that for some reason, delete "Lockdown" from your mods directory. All the quests will be broken, but you can mess around with the mods included in the pack.
