What is the easiest way to migrate a server to the new version? Can I install the new server and just drag a copy of the world file over?

You need to move the entire world folder, and *then* delete the HardcoreQuest folder from inside of it. It'll revert quest progress, but other than that, yes, it will work. :)

It's okay. I reported them all. Hopefully a mod will show up to delete them. I wish I could mod my own page. :/
Talonos or anyone else, do you know how I can use the server, I input my IP, but whenever I use either the Minectaft 1.7.10 jar or the Blightfall jar it just crashes. Do you know the proper way to boot it up because I think I'm doing something wrong.

It could be thousands of things. but if I had to guess, I'd say It's probably because you haven't accepted the EULA. Do a search on this page for "EULA" http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server
I accepted the EULA, it was already on true anyways

A good idea for this pack would be to install OpenBlocks. For too long have I wanted to hang-glide off the top of a volcano...
Thought about it. Openblocks comes with a lot of stuff that's not a good fit for the modpack. It would take a long time to sort what's right for the pack out from what's not. I'll consider it, but I've got other mods I'm planning on integrating first. :)

Also a bit of a note, need to make mention that the shimmerleaf's themselves do NOT affect the blight.

The first you-tube spotlight I had said that they can tell it was a new pack, because there were "lots of bugs. Like the purple poison vines everywhere. This has got to be a world-gen error. No way that was intended..."

This is a really great idea for a mod, but considering it uses Spice of Life, it feels strange that the food options are so limited. Hard is one thing, but staying wellfed felt more futile then difficult. Maybe you should incorporate a few extra food item mods as well to allow for some more variety?

A trick to this is to really utilize the drying rack, raw food, cooked food, and adding varieties of food to each other. For example, eat a cooked pork. Still hungry, eat a raw pork. If there's a little bit left, eat some pork jerky. just insert a different type of meat into where pork was, wait to eat sometimes, and you'll be good. And if you're having trouble with animals, the trick to that is to have an ethereal bloom next to the dome, a few blocks away. That makes the area big enough for animals to spawn. Then just go on a mining trip and wait for the place to fill with pigs, cows, etc.
I'm overhauling hunger mechanics in 2.1.0 (in development) but you bring up good points! Remember to get seed bags for berries, and smelteries can be used for blood drops which also give good food!
Mod pack is one of my top 3 favorite, can't wait till the next update rolls out. for those of you having trouble, the pack does require some RAM but is defiantly worth some hassle to get working right.

I agree on how great the pack is and it runs smoothly on my computer yet I just don't like how the server download doesn't function for me.

Does anyone know how to start up the blightfall sever, I put my IP and settings but when I launch the minecraft_server.1.7.10 it gets stuck on "Generating new properties file", anyone know of a solution

for all the people who are crashing when starting the mudpack you most likely don't have enough ram dedicated to I. Mine runs on 1.5g ram but unfortunately if u only have a 2gb ram pc its unlikely your computer can handle it :(. Hope I helped some people

That file is like 150 MB. Sure it stopped? Or did it just take way longer than you expected?
