Downloaded this lat week for my son and he's playing and really enjoying the game but having problems with the game "crashing" or just freezing. Sometimes you just stop being able to do anything (Not responding message up on the task bar), but it doesn't start responding again and other times the whole screen goes a misty white as well as not being able to do anything. So, able to play but frequent interruptions (every 10 mins) from this happening - is there anything we can do to stop it happening? Maybe a problem with our PC? And, I came out of the ark so please say it in non-technical speak! I can find my way around files on the PC and delete/ amend if I have instructions I understand! Be grateful for your help because my son really does love this!

try using a better computer like a mac or somthing
ok, so, I tried to delete and re install the mudpack because I couldn't find the install files, when I re installed I found out its called "Captainsparkelz - survival pack -", why? and now it wont finish installing, it only reaches 5 or 6 % then just stops and the install button comes back, I pressed it again, same thing happened... I really liked this mudpack, please fix it!!
why cant I find the install files? I want to get rid of not enough items because it stops me from getting out of the GUI that shows my Pokémon stats
In your Technic folder, all modpacks are located under the folder "modpacks". This modpack's folder will be called something along the lines of "captainsparklez"
when can i get back on ps1? its about a month ago when i did play for the last time .
can you answer my question.

Not enough information. You might as well have told me you have a sedan with bucket seats, and you can't drive over 50mph for some reason.
Whenever I download the server files, there is no start.bat or a start server file. Any help?

See my comment below.... also, servers usually don't make their own. Making a start.bat is simple enough. Same as making one for Vanilla Minecraft Server, except point it at the cauldron jar
Also, give it more ram.... I would recommend 4GB, if you have it, for a 4-6 person server.
_Atlas..... you have yet to answer me on the question of why your ServerPack has not been updated to work. I have emailed you plenty of details. I have posted on your Feed. I have posted here. I am not demanding a solution, merely information. I am a programmer, I understand how consuming technical work can get. I would be more than happy with "It's on the back burner". But if you plan to never update your ServerPack, or you will far in the Future, I request you remove the link or post what version, if any, it still supports.
Gotta' catch em' all. Hell to the yas. PIXELMON!

http://www.technicpack.net/article/building-your-own-modpack.7 this is what I used. Though, there is the ability to get forge for Mac, just not an easy installer. You would need to get the permission from every single Mod Maker, though. Many have explicit permission on their pages, so you need to watch for that.
When i try to download the mod pack it runs correctly at first but when i gets to the "installing Libraries", part about half way through i get an error saying, " Error downloading a file for the following pack: PixelSpark _ Pixelmon
Failed to download http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/com/typesafe/config/1.2.1/config-1.2.1.jar
Please contact the modpack author"
No idea what to do!

The Technic Servers have been a lot of trouble lately.... just retry a little later each time you get that.
When i go to play it it doesn't show up but i do everything. What Do i do i'm new to the modpack things

Need more details. What isn't working? Any error messages? Does Minecraft open then crash? Any information is better than nothing.
I try to install this mod but says: "error 401" Request unautorized.
What i can do?

The Technic Server has been running into some issues. I'm not a representative of Technic, so I can't give you anything more than I've observed, but the problem seems to be resolved.
how do you get on the game l download it but it won't let me play?

In order for anyone to help you, you need to provide more details. Is there an Error Message? Is Minecraft opening, then closing? What exactly happens after you hit the Play button?

Is there any way to prevent pokemon from spawning in specific areas, they keep destroying my farm /nerdrage

have you tried the same techniques that are used for stopping mob spawning? ((I've never tried this, so I'm trying to work with you towards a solution))
Didn't know it was possible at all? i havent played regular minecraft for a long time now
There are tricks. 1/2 Blocks (like slabs) on the floor. Good lighting. There is always command blocks on timers that each kill a type of entity, but those get noisy (silent command blocks doesn't silence the logs).
Could You add the Pokecycles mod, the better sounds mod animated player and perhaps shaders? And NEI?
