Running a Server

The Craftier and Crazier Modpack 3.0.3 Server pack has been released for you all to start your own server (I'm assuming that you already know how to share your IP address and similar MCserver jargon. If not look on youtube; there are loads of helpful tutorials on how to set up your own Minecraft servers).

Just Click 'Server Download' on the Technic Modpack webpage, unzip the downloaded file, double-click 'CLICK THIS TO START SERVER-run.bat' (if it asks you if you want to run it or not or something similar, press yes/ok) a command prompt window should now open. Let it do its stuff, like generate the world and load the mods, and away you go!
More Info (ADVANCED USERS ONLY!):
If you want to run the server with more RAM: right click on the 'CLICK THIS TO START SERVER-run.bat' file and select edit. It will probably say something along the lines of "This file may harm your computer". Just press run anyway or I don't care (I promise I'm not trying to remotely hack your computer { ?• ?? ?•} ;-)).
In the text editor that opens, look at the bit that says: "java -Xmx1024M" change the 1024 to what amount of MB of RAM you want to allocate to the server. For a smoother, faster server, higher amounts of RAM are needed.
Note:
Some mods from the main modpack had to be omitted as they were client only mods (ie: they would not work on a server); these were:
Rei's Minimap and C and C Exculsives.

I hope you found that helpful! :)
Enjoy your own modded server!
