"When downloading some modpacks, the progress percentage might go into a really large negative number (like -2147483648%). This is a bug, but it's only visual, it doesn't affect download of the modpack. It will still download just fine. If the download fails, then it's something else unrelated to this.
If you're curious and technically inclined, this is because the Content-Length header is missing, so it gets -1 as the size, which causes this really interesting behavior."
