I really want to play this modpack again but it keeps crashing whenever I load up a new world, and along with it says it has an error when it installs.

Whatever happened to this modpack? I can't seem to find any recent news about it. It used to to be my favorite modpack to play as a kid and I was curious to see how it was doing, but it seems to have completely died. I've already accepted that I'll probably never be able to play this again, but I'd like some closure.

I did some quick research and it seems that the creator, fightingsora, hasn't even been active in the MC community anywhere for the past year or so. I'm guessing he just up and left MC in the past, which if his Enjin account is at all accurate can't be blamed as he is 27 years old and has a life to live and such. Well, if he ever reads this, thank you for creating such a masterpiece that gave me hours upon hours of enjoyment in my childhood.
Would you still play it if I brought it back?
For any and all who may wish to play this glorious modpack but are having issues, I have found a solution, for some reason the Chocolate Quest Mod is basically breaking everything and upon deleting this mod I was able to actually play. I hope this helps anyone who may have had issues and I can't wait for the new D.E.T.S
I'm having the same problem a lot of people do, where my game crashes when I try to create a world. It's not my computer, I have a dedicated gaming computer and am giving 5 gb to the game.
I played this pack years ago back when it was on its first version and Ronnoc (whom I actually met once by random chance in a server) was the owner. I am trying to get back into it but whenever I launch it the client gets stuck when trying to load "Initializing mods Phase 3". I assume this is a widespread issue as the person who commented prior to me seems to be having a similar issue. I would appreciate it if you could fix this, thank you.

When I try to launch the game, it freezes one the screen where the hammer is hitting the anvil. I tried to reload it 3 or 4 timer and it still does the same thing. I really want to play DETS ): Can you fix this or tell me what to do so I can play?

Ok now i can Launch the game, but every time i try to create a world or Join an already created world it just closes. [;-;]
Sorry about the crashing last time I checked it was working fine. But somthing has happened since then so I will be sure to fix it.

I read the comments and you still havent found a fix for the crashes?well let me tell you that it has nothing to do with 32 bit and 64 bit, since i tried launching with both. Its definetly a mod that stopped working or overlapped with something, i wish you could fix this. I really loved DETS II and im really hoping to play DETS III
I loved this modpack! is there still a server for it?

When I try to make a world, Minecraft instantly exits. No crash report. No Shutting down internal server. . . screen. Nothing. Please help!

Same problem - the game crashes before the map loads. It doesn't matter on the map type, either.

I recall the DLC D.E.T.S. before this being amazing (The first good modpack I found), so I'm hoping you know a way to resolve this because this also looks good. :c
Crashes before loading world...tried changing how much RAM I give it, still crashes. Not sure if its a mod conflict or what

Guy, seriously, put a mod-list in your pack please, I mean I want to know what it has before I start playing to see if I'll like it or not.

I have the exact same problem with mine frosty. ive tried everything to fix it as well. {not including mudpack changes}.

also sorry for any spelling mistakes, my keyboard is shit and I don't have enough money to buy a new one.
It loads and creates the world but just before it puts me in in it, it crashes. I have the java thing set to 5 GB ram. I don't know if that's part of the problem but i would think that's enough ram

just found our that mocreatures has a problem with anything you need to sit on or ride. crashes the game. they are aware of the problem but no fix yet. no horses, boats, wayverns or anything you can mount. animal bikes are ok to put in but do not ride them.
