Got a new update. The server is down because the regular minecraft. Mojang is having a problem with the sserver as said in Mineplex fourms: All servers are down... It has just happened recently... Those over at Mojang are trying their hardest to resolve the issue...
Wait are they restarting the whole world (the minecraft world) !!!

Update On The Server: It is indeed still down, it is not yet known how long it will be down.

It should. Their probably doing a maintenance check.
It's been down for nearly five hours, so it might not come back until tomorrow.
Yes it has, Possibly tomorrow. Their probably having a server cooldown or fixing problems/bugs.

I think it's restarting so you should consider exploring the mods in singleplayer! :D (Or wait either later today or tomorrow)
It has a restart an hour ago but still isn't back up, oddly enough.
The highest memory option in my java settings is 1 GB, is it possible to change it to more?

You are probably using java 32bits, if you want to get more than 1Gb you need to change your java version to 64 bits.This requires you to unistall your current version of java and install the 64 bits version which can ben found in their website.I hope this helped you.
Thank you. I am now able to get more Gb, but i still crash every time i open my world.
I wish they would have more slots for their server :/ Its always full and i have to wait or wait til night to play :[
Try to join when the server is restarting, after the restarts the server never gets full within 20 or so.Restart happen every 3h.The first one is at midnight GMT time.
i keep chrashing in single player :( idk what to do!

even when i just try to do anything minecraft related, it will not work! i cant even sign in with mojang! UGH

something is happening when i try to download the update it says "an error occured" i deleted it and tried re downloading it, but it said an error occured when deleting the pack. anyone know why?

idk whats going on, but everytime I try to join its saying failed to login something to do with java and gives me lots of numbers and letters.
Apparently Mojang services are down because a number of DDOS attacks are ongoing many networks are down because of it.You can still get on the server if you are lucky, but the services are extremely unstable.You can see the status of all mojang services here https://help.mojang.com/

Just of curiosity what's going on with the server? it's been quite a while and i'm not able to get in, is there something wrong?
