I ate OMNIUS. It was rather yummy.
It is a little slow to start up, but I understand that... hopefully it DOES load... =D xD
I want to build bigger ships, than 2048 blocks in archimedes ships plus. (may Change it it config file)

There are many Minecraft servers available where players can say "pls".
I think 1.10 ruined it for mac users, I could get to 70% before and then it loaded, but 1.10 made it 20% and not loading. I have 16 gig RAM and nothing else much running (I checked Onyx) so yeah, I think it could either be a client or having 222 mods.
I am the developer or Core Zero, and I use a MacBook Pro 15" running Yosemite. It's not broken for Mac users, if you could give any specific info like crash reports, logs, etc. then that would be great because it's NOT a modpack issue, it's your issue :)
Actually I have a request could you please Add Drzharksmocreatures and Minecraft Comes Alive?? Please?? :D

Very cool Idea! I love both mods too!!!
Dr Zhark's Mo Creature module is too much, I already have Special Mobs.
Minecraft Comes Alive is good in vanilla, but you won't like it with all the other mods.
Also My game crashes before it starts and its not because of the computer mine is a apple mac

go to mods folder and delete optifine maybe, or some other client side mods, one of them has to be causing the issue, then try to update the mod or live without it...
Same, my mac has 16 gig RAM and still crashes around 20, or if I'm lucky 70
sure, that you have a 64bit System with 64bit Java and Java 8? If yes, make sure, that you allocated enough RAM for minecraft in the technic launcher

My friend is having this issue whenever he joins his server, it just says Minecraft does not respond, please help.
does he have ports forwarded, is he using localhost or 127.0.0.1, also if hes just trying to run on hamachi server should be in offline mode (aka lan mode)
His server Works, me and my other friends can get on it, its just him for some reason...
have him port forward 25565 inbound and outbound, or if its just u guys try hamachi/tunngle
also keep in mind, some modems are straight broken and will never allow hosting
His server is working, what Im trying to say is that whenever he join a game either single player or Multiplayer his game just says that it is not responding, we later on wait 10 minutes but it is still not responding
is he running the provided .bat file? also if his game crashes for single player maybe its his pc in general, but if the server runs you all should be able to join if his internet is forwarded properly
also its 200+mods it takes about 10 min to load just leave it and grab a snack or watch tv
All of us can join, except him, which is pretty odd since me and my other friend have pretty terrible computers but run it just fine, its only him for some reason he simply cant join either a single player world or a Multiplayer world, appart from that he has a really good computer and can run basicly all other modpacks at constant 60 FPS.
ive seen a lot of comments about this modpack acting like this, i really dont know what to say >.< it seems more of a client side thing than a network, maybe stuff is in there like optifine or something, try looking into client side mods that may conflict with his pc
Ask him to check if he allocated the recommended 4GB memory. He also needs the latest Java 8

Optifine could indeed mess with you. I'm not sure but the log might hold some more information if you can share it
he has no crash logs, he doesnt crash just says does not respond, Ill tell him to delete optifine
keep optifine in recycle bin still tho just incase :)
I got the same Problem. I re-installed Java 8 and allocated 10 GB RAM
10 GB RAM is too much though, Core Zero recommended 4
the mods section cant be working right, theres to many good mods i love in it!

featuring keepinventory and server auto restart for crashes, keeping you playing as long as possible with little suffering, (keep in mind creepers can still blow you to hell)
Can confirm that this server is up and running!
guys be patient :) updating to add mytown plugin to allow town claiming, still beta, so build underground in your claim as explosions will sure get you
Dreken, I'll be back on the server soon, have to run a few errands.
thats fine the server is taking about 5-10 mins to boot and it keeps failing with mytown, if i cant get a stable mytown im switching back to getting towny to work or something along those lines, i really like towny though, it can block you from walking into a claim which is a much easier grief prevention because you can claim large areas and stop people from getting to your main claim in the center

This pack has forcefield though, might as well use it, its much funnier :D
wasnt aware it had grief prevention, i suppose both cant hurt :3 already active
It allows you to deploy a forcefield with various upgrade (invisible / kill / loot /...) Its pretty funny but you need a few machines of course ;)
the claims are more for user grief prevention, like walking into the zone at all, or not allowing pvp or mobs inside of spawn

This is for all those, who are having issues with the modpack: It running fine at my Computer and I have an Intel Core i5 3,2 GHZ Dual Core with 12GB RAM and Nvidia Graphicsand ist working fine... I got the newest Java Version in 64 bit. For People who are not knowing, whats the right Java, they can use the link below and klick on "Download Server Chip Online.

And the new i3 Desktop CPUs are having more power than mine´, so it should work with them too...
Or, they can download the exact same thing from the official Java website, and not feel unsafe by downloading something from a random German website.

I tested. that 4GB RAM is the absolute miniumum. On Full Power, it uses a bit more than 7GB, so I think you should change the requirements in the help thread on Minimum: 4GB RAM, Recommended 8GB RAM

Core Zero may not have murderous intentions for humans, but on my side he sure hates the number 65. I haven't actually been able to play this mod pack due to the crashing once the java platform reaches 65%. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
